The wedding is in like 2 weeks or something, and I have my MSW graduation tomorrow.
In the last few days I’ve managed to:
1. Accidentally flung the remote from under a blanket which hit me square in the nose causing a cut/bruise, and now a giant red spot
2. Last night I had an amazing time with the glue gun and gave myself a nasty glue gun burn on my ring finger (YUCK)
3. I was trying to use one of those foot callous scrubbers and slipped and cut my ankle :/
4. I also sliced my finger open (but I can’t remember how)
5. Now this isn’t so recent…but two winters ago I was sick and hopped up on goofballs and in the middle of the night I walked right into my mother’s antique hope chest…sharp edge and all. I got a nasty gash and now a gnarly scar to go with it. We put neo on it religiously but it was really deep…I probably shoulda gotten stitches. And I have a knee length dress (blah)…
Not that misery likes company or anything but please tell me I’m not the only one losing it here?!
Bee safe bees!

I’m already married, but I hurt myself by accident all the time. The latest one is a burn on my forearm becuase I did something stupid while ironing DH’s work shirts. Never, ever try to grab something by reaching over a hot iron!

I am always walking into things. You would think I can’t see clearly, which without my contacts I cannot but most of the time my vision is technically fine! LOL. I seem to walk into one corner of my bed all the time and often have a bruise on my upper thigh from it. My watch which I wear daily, is very banged up/scratched if you look closely at it too! This is why I told Fiance I can not have a huge ring or a ring that sits too high because I will eventually get it caught in something or knock it against something…it would happen! LOL.
I have burns from baking, hot gluing, flat ironing…it always seems to get me. Sigh.

Raises hand in shame. My fiance says I need supervision at all times. Im the most daring person but always gets hurt in the process. Latest incident: in a bar we get to an area where someone spilled a drink. I say we should move before someone trips, takes one step and falls straight to the ground SMH

I am always banging my knees on things, one of them usually has some stage of bruise on it. Right now my left knee has two big yellow/purple healing bruises.

@strawbabies: Haha good point! I have to iron my graduation outfit for tomorrow…so I should probably wear a hazmat suit!!!
@Ms_Purple: I am also a bed corner walker intoer…woah. And I’m covered in bruises (yuck) short dress! Bleh…why did I pick a short dress 😕

@Luvnseptember: That takes some confidence though…to be able to shake a fall! I’m impressed!!
@Pinkmoon: Yep. I wonder if the MUA will cover all my leg bruises…or is that weird to ask? Hahaha!
Oh yeah…and I got a massage yesterday and I swear the lady left finger print bruises on my inner arms. Looks like someone grabbed me by both arms really hard…which she did during my massage…but it looks like a different context if you know what I mean!

I am super clumsy. My legs are usually covered in bruises from walking into things, plus my job involves walking through forests/brush and I end up with scratches all over me from trying to navigate my way through. For me, the wedding will be a success if I manage to make it down the aisle without tripping, and don’t spill anything on my dress. Fingers crossed!

@Little_Nut88: OMG don’t even go there. My shoes are seriously way too tall…what was I thinking. And the walk is long. Oh..the horror.

I’m not so bad, but my Fiance… oh man. I should probably make an effort to keep him away from anything sharp, plus fire, until our wedding day! Problem is, he hurts himself on everything. Like the other day, we were going out with our bikes. He was on it on the drive way and was going to just sort of skip to the side, stumbled, got caught up in the chain and fell. Huge gashing wound on his ankle with bike grease in it… Sigh. One good thing, there’s no poison ivy in Sweden – so at least I don’t have to worry about that one!

@icetea: Uh oh! I still have to get shoes but I’ve decided I’m going to have my dressed taken up enough that I can wear very small heels.

Yep- no coordination here. I joke that I got the book smarts but they forgot to give me grace. I’ve walked into walls on multiple occasions. I always have bruises from not paying attention and doing stupid things like walking into furniture- head in the clouds as my mom would say. My Fiance thinks its funny. Oh- and I still have a residual sunburn from 2 summers ago! on my back that looks like wings that I got while working outside in a river for my job while wearing a racerback tank. That’s gonna look awesome with my strapless dress lol

I’m so clumsy. My partner makes fun of me for it all the time (in a nice way). I’m the clumsiest in flats (but fine in heels, go figure). Once I tripped over nothing and fell on my face while teaching. My students though I tripped over a cord. Yup, nothing there. I bruise really easily (partly due to medication) and am pale so bruises show up awful. You can see a bunch in our wedding photos that they didn’t edit out, and I’m thinking of asking them to. My mom said she didn’t see them until she looked for it. The week before our wedding, my partner said I shouldn’t play with the dogs b/c I’ll get more bruised! To be fair, I got a hairline fracture in my ankle… walking my dog. The sidewalk was uneven and CRICK, twisted the hell out of it (I broke the other ankle – shattered the bone – in a car accident).

@icetea: My mom and I always joke that she’s the klutz gold medalist and I’m the silver medalist. Some things I do a lot are burning myself, slipping and falling on my driveway, stepping on people’s toes/accidentally punching people while trying to hug them, tripping over my feet/my pants, tripping over speedbumps and sidewalks, and opening cupboards then accidentally hitting myself in the face with them. I once dropped my phone in my coffee too
