I was thinking about the wedding on my commute today (what else is new, haha) and I was thinking about how I’m a little self-concious that I’m about fifty pounds heavier than Fi. I know we look great together and blah blah blah, but dangit, I wish I wasn’t bigger than him! Haha, shallow. He has an amazing metabolism and a naturally lean build so it’s just the way it is, but any other curvy bees out there have smaller fiances? I included this picture just because I think it’s cute: His small butt and my big butt… Two completely different sized butts, one very strong mutual feeling of love 🙂

I’m actually pretty small, but still have curves while the boy is a bean pole. Even though he is almost a foot and a half taller, and 100 pounds heavier, our measurements are sooo similar! For example, my thigh measures only 2 inches smaller than his :/
I think you look fabulous together 🙂
PS. I always joke that the boy has a little butt while I have a rather large bubble but :p

Hi date twin!
We’re the other way around; my Fiance is more than twice my size. We’re totally used to the size difference, and I’m actually glad for his padding because it makes us more comfortable to snuggle together. He’s my teddy bear, and I love to hug him. Imagine if we were both skinny and boney. Yuck!
I think your butt is cuter than his anyway…

Love it!!! Thanks for the compliments gals… and it’s so true, I think love comes in all shapes and sizes… how boring would it be if it didn’t?!

Well when we met we were both skinny, and then he was chunky and I was super skinny, and now I am chunky and he is super skinny. Go figure. It bugs me that he is smaller than me because you know, I am suppose to be able to wear his oversized t-shirt to bed and stuff like that. Its not that big of a deal for me but when we take the behind pictures I really notice. lol.

Aw, you guys look great! I used to worry about what people would think when I with my beanpole of an ex. But, eventually I accepted that what matters most is that you’re happy, not what others think 🙂

Ok this may sound crazy, but my Fiance is a little overweight and I don’t want him to lose weight because then he will be thinner than me. So I’m not in that situation now but he’s trying to get in shape for the wedding and instead of encouraging him I just ask him to not lose that much LOL.

Haha! I love what you said at the end! Cute! Anyways….yes I am a little bigger than my scrawny little man, but I do think that we are adorable together! Sometimes I do wish I could be smaller, especially when he like picks me up or when I sit on his lap, but he says I’m fine and that I’m not too heavy. Oh well, I guess us curvy women will have to deal with it and believe them when they tell us we are beautiful!

We’re usually fairly similar proportionately besides the fact that he towers over me (he’s 1 ft taller) but neither of us have super fast metabolisms. So if we eat badly for awhile, you can’t really tell he’s put on any weight because it distributes, but on my 5′ frame it’s like HEY! I’m right here! 5 lbs! – that gets really difficult to deal with because on the flip side, he loses weight faster since he’s a guy and burns more calories just by living.
Because of all this, I have huge self-esteem issues that people think he’s out of my league, or that they’ll be surprised when they meet me, etc. I think that at some point, it stops being about what you really look like and starts being about your perception of yourself. You clearly look good together (cute picture!) and he obviously thinks you’re beautiful. I think that with confidence, you sometimes just have to fake it til you make it.

@jaylove it always seems men can loose faster…20 lbs is a HUGE accomplishment! be proud & congrats to you both!!! 🙂

I fell in love with my fi when he was 30 pounds heavier than he is now. I always imagined myself as the smaller one. Well one day, he had left of pair of checkered trousers in my room. I decided it would be cute to wear them– I assumed they’d fit me slouchy and baggy. When I put them on it was humbling that they were tight on me. We’re both different people and are different shapes.

Fiance and I weigh the same, but he is three inches shorter than me. He is skinny and I am curvy, but it really doesn’t bother me all that much.

@babyboo- My Fiance and I are the same way! He is taller and weighs more than I do but our measurements are almost the same. I’m fairly sure that he could fit into some of my clothes.
