I am gluten free due to celiac disease and a few of my family members are as well so it is a gluten free wedding for us! We are a month away from picking out our meals and havent even thought about dessert yet (since the traditional cake is out 🙁 ) Anyone else out there doing this or has done this? Just wondering what you chose or what your experiences were…any suggestions?

In my case, I had fruit with chocolate as a dessert while people had cake because the cake was part of the package for our Destination Wedding and they would have done a Girlfriend cake if I had sent a recipe… However, having never tasted a good Girlfriend cake, I didn’t want to ruin it for everyone, so I just let it go.
But, you could have crustless cheesecake? Or, see with your baker what he could do? Some type of chocolate mousse cake can work as well…
