I am a weird combination of curious and terrified to attend one of these hahaha. How do you choose your hash name? Do you just get to pick it? <–ETA: Read wikipedia, answers galore! Lol

I love running…and drinking…and socializing…I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this before. It’s like a not-so-secret secret club.

I’m in!  How have I never heard of this before?!

eta:  A simple google search later and I find a club near me… but it looks like mostly people younger than me (in their twenties).  Am I too old and boring to do something like this?

OMG! Hi there!! I grew up in HHH. Both my Mum and Dad have run with then since I was born! I have been on a few runs when I travel overseas like Vietnam but I haven’t actaully joined a club (as I suck at running)

But I think I might join when I move back home to Australia, we had such good times and it’s a great way to make friends.

Everyone was BANANAS. Lots of drinking and playing silly buggers.

This is awesome. I’ve never heard of such a thing, and I’m most certainly not cool enough for it, but apparently there’s a big chapter (or kennel?) in St. Louis. My parents are very active in the caving community – they belong to a club and it’s very similar….they’re a drinking club with a caving problem. They have big national conventions and whatnot…go out looking for new caves, camping out in fields for a week, etc.
