Omg he’s gorgeous! I just love hunters.

I work at an equine get clinic as a night tech/foaling attendant. It’s a great job. Unfortunately I’m not riding at the moment but still get to work with them every day.

Beautiful horse! πŸ™‚

I just got back into riding after being out of it for 2 years (rode only for a few months and was off another 2 years before that) I’ve been back riding regularly for about 4 months now and am SOOOO much happier.

I quit riding before due to it being too expensive, and after getting a new job with slightly more pay, Ihad contemplated over the last year whether or not I should budget the money to get back into it, and I’m so glad I did.

I don’t own right now, but leased a Trakehner for a few years, before I went through my no-riding period.
Now I’m taking lessons (Dressage) on a 12 year old mare. TB/Belgian/Arab x

Firemansgirl: Your horse is gorgous! I have loved horses my whole life and I am lucky enough to still get to ride (although only on weekend πŸ™ as I work full time and my horse is not on my property).

This is my 12 y.o Arab x Stockhorse mare bronte…. I mostly ride her out on trails and some endurance but I am starting riding club with her this year. So excited to get her out and about to a few dressage or jumping days!

Sorry no idea how to resize photos.

She is an amazing horse who is really my once in a lifetime horse. She challenges me and at the same time she looks after me. I once fell off at the gallop and she stopped for me…when she easily could have bolted all the way back to the feedshed if she wanted to.

So nice to know there are other horse obsessed bees on here πŸ™‚

I had an Arabian/Mustang. We did primarily trail riding (Since we were in the heart of the Mojave desert) and my mom had a little purebred arab. We also had a Quarter/Arab & a purebred quarter. We also rescued multiple mutts through our years of ownership.

I have two – a 7 yo Irish sport horse named McNaulty and the handsome boy in the pic above, my Cody…

I too am a lifelong horsey girl who took some time off (18 years!!) and came back to it later in life.

I event Cody and Naulty is in his dressage/SJ training, prepping to event as well.

Thanks for the pony love thread!! <3
