I was just wondering if any other January bees are on the weight-loss track for the wedding (and for life!)
Ever since the hot weather hit, it’s been a lot easier for me to eat lighter and lose some weight. I hope I can keep it up!
My goal is to lose 5-7lbs each month.

Yes I am! I want to lose some weight and also get some more tone in my arms and all over.
You are lucky it is warm there, it’s winter here and so hard to get motivated some days 🙁 I have zumba DVDs and do them a bit but need to get my butt into gear and do more!

@nzgirl: You’re right it’s easier when its hot, but it’ll start getting cooler from October and then I’m scared how my appetite will become!!
I recommend Jillian Michaels DVDs- she will really tone you, although sometimes the pain is excrutiating! But it feels so good after. 🙂

I started herbalife shakes and zumba. I am pretty happy I just want to tone mostly, I mean my fiance loved me this way why would I want to change too much.

I agree I don’t want a drastic change, mainly more toned. But then again I do want to look the best I can, it will be the most photographed day of our lives and we will have these photos forever.
Fiance wouldn’t care what I looked like, and I am the same with him but together we are making a conscious effort to eat better and workout more.

yes! I have been working on it for about a month and have lost around 5 pounds which I’m happy with. I would like to loose about 15 to 20 more before the wedding, but I can’t loose too much or my dress won’t fit 🙂
Motivation is key… I keep telling myself… Hopefully I will reach my goal!

I’m trying to lose 15 pounds or so. I was doing SBD for a while and it was great! I always knew though that I would do SBD for a while as a way to readjust my relationship with food. I was sort of going nuts there with the desserts and pizza :/
Now I’m thinking of using loseit.com, basically just calorie counting…
I’m also really worried about when fall hits! I love baking and it has been my biggest downfall when it comes to gaining weight. But it just makes the house so cozy! Ugh!

Calorie counting is great! My Fiance and I joined my fitness pal, I have lost 5kg (11 pounds) since joining about 3 months ago, I know its not much but it honestly does not feel like dieting as you can have what you want, but then you need to exercise or eat good the rest of the day. Now I am at my goal weight but want to tone up.
This is hopefully the hardest part of the time for me, its winter here and we had snow in my town yesterday which hasn’t happened for 19 years, we are at sea level so was pretty cold!
I just want to snuggle up inside with warm comfort food, finding it so hard to stay motivated and exercise!

ohhhh yes! I am trying to lose weight and have sort of hit a plateau. :/ I use myfitnesspal, too and LOVE it. I’ve lost about 11 pounds, but I’d like to lose a bit more and tone up my arms.
For me, summer is the hardest time to lose weight! I’m a teacher, so the lack of routine really messes me up. Plus, 100+ degree weather every day makes it REALLY difficult to do anything outside, so I’m much less active. I am taking Zumba classes and have lost almost 14 inches all over and just started using Jillian Michaels DVDs to tone up some.
FH protested some to my efforts for losing weight at first, but when I explained to him that this wasn’t just for the wedding but for life, he jumped on board. 🙂

I am doing the HCG Liquid diet…so far I have lost 20 lbs and wanting to lose another 15lbs before the big day…so excited!I am on my 3rd cycle of this plan and have another one before the big day…
