I am so, so stressed lately! I had my bridal shower on April 12, which was great and a ton of fun but ever since then I have been struggling to stay above water. My evenings which I usually spend doing homework were monopolized with dozens of thank you cards. I got behind by a week with my courses and am just starting to catch up. Not a HUGE deal but man, it’s the week before the end of term and there are TONS of things to do. Now I need to schedule all my vendor meetings and am missing bunches of work to meet with people left and right… it’s hard! I’ve been on top of things and totally comfortable until now and it’s not a good feeling.
Anyone else just starting to feel overwhelmed?! I am a June 7 bride so I only have 5 weeks left *shudder*
On a postitive note – here’s a nice pic of me and my Maid/Matron of Honor who threw the shower. 🙂

springbride23: Hi weekend twin!!
I have a very long to-do list, but so far haven’t been too stressed lately. Last fall, before the florist and DJ were chosen, I was a basket of nerves. My two huge obstacles now are my weight (trying to lose more – arrgh) and finding makeup to cover my rosacea and not make it worse.
Celebrate every time you cross something off your list!!! That sure helps me.

I have phases. I get extremely stressed out at times, and then I go back to being ok and just excited. Right now I am excited more than stressed. 🙂 I think mostly because everything is now bought and paid for, it’s just putting it all together!

- Wedding: June 2014 - Baby #2 due Sep 2017
I’m having a stressful week and both my Fiance and I have had bad nights of sleep this week because of the wedding leading to bickering 🙁
38 days to go for me :/

- Wedding: June 2014 - Ontario, Canada ♥ EDD- April 2016
I’ve been pretty good up until now, but things are starting to really sink in and even though we don’t have an overwhelming amount of stuff to do, it’s starting to get stressful just thinking of the days counting down. It’ll be 50 days until the wedding on Friday! I kind of switch between nervous and excited aha. I just try to take it day by day and not think too much about how close we are to the week before the wedding 😉

I’m also June 7th! The only thing making me nervous is thinking I’m forgetting something! I haven’t had much time to focus on the wedding since I’m away from home, finals are soon and graduation! It’ll be nice to move back home so I can finish everything up! Hoping we get all our RSVPs in soon so I can make the seating chart, then just a few decor projects and meetings with people, but I’m not too nervous yet!

I’m a June 7 bride too! I think for me it’s the feeling that I should be busier right now but I’m not. I’m not sure what else I can do right now as we wait for RSVPs to come in… I’ve started Welcome Bags, but can’t mark it complete until I know how many people are in the hotel, I can’t finish seating charts until I know our final guest list, can’t finish programs until I know how many to print.. all those kinds of things. I feel like I’ll be stressing in a couple of weeks but right now, I feel calm and it’s freaking me out haha. 45 days to go!

Oh man. I keep thinking of all these little things that I hadn’t before like ‘oh we need to choose a cake cutting song’ and ‘is my dad going to do a welcome toast?’ ‘where are the guys going to get ready if the girls are at our house’ those sorts of itty bitty things. Driving.me.nuts.
I can’t even do welcome bags because I won’t know until after May 6 how many, if any, people are staying at the hotel. Ahhhh. 🙂
I’m glad most of you are doing well with this! It’s been so easy for me so far and all of a sudden I’m freaking the heck out! lol

MrsYoshida: We’ve been bickering more than usual.. we barely ever have arguments but I find myself snapping over the stupidest things! I always feel horrible about it because he’s really trying to be helpful and he is awesome. 🙂
I blame it on Aunt Flo coming to visit this weekend. I’m in crazy biotch mode. haha

We got engaged early dec 2013, then I was off to vacation for 3 weeks with my family. Came back mid January, and decided to have our wedding in June. With short egagement, we did have tons of bickering and fights for a couple of weeks since we were so overwhelmed.
Most of the fights were about budgeting for the wedding. But things are much better now, and booked all the vendors. We are pretty much done except paying those balances by early June. I’m assuming we will feel a little flustered after paying off some of those things

I’ve been pretty stressed.
Issues with my bridal shower, guest list issues, wedding dress changes, and finances have made me feel a tad overwhelmed.
I also have lots of DIY things to put together as does Fiance (signs for wedding, card box, etc. that he’s making) so I’m a bit nervous about that which only 2 months to go (June 28th here).
I know it will all come together though so I’m trying not to get too stressed about it. Wedding planning is always on my mind I feel like and I spend a lot of time researching, talking to vendors, and thinking about it. I just try to tackle a bit every day. I had a super productive day a few weeks ago and wrote out every thing I still need to buy and do for DIY tasks and that made me feel a lot better. I’m trying to get through that list gardually. We also have a lot done which helps in terms of vendors and rentals.
I work full time and am in grad school. I also have been working out regularly and doing Weight Watchers so I try to spend a lot of time focusing my energy on those things. It’s helped keep me grounded I think as well as happy (as I see my weight loss results). Fiance is also REALLY supportive so he’ll let me vent, offers to help, and is being easy going which has been a GOD SEND for me.
Good luck, June bees! It’s sooo close 😀

- Wedding: June 2014 - White Horse Inn
There just keeps being more and more action items! I spent wayy too much time looking at rugs lol! Its getting intense planning two weddings for the same day (hindu & traditional) and a welcome party – even with the help of a wedding planner. My Future Mother-In-Law is amazing though and we are planning it all together. Luckily now that its close to the big day my Fiance is being amazingly supportive and actually giving his opinion on everything when I ask (this was not the case back in fall when it was far away so Im really glad he is into it when it matters!)
My shower is next weekend but I have still been stressed by thank you notes for early wedding presents. Its been hard just learning how to address people and figure out which people are Doctors! But it is exciting that so many people support our marriage!

I am bouncing between stress and excited often right now, I am also a June 7th bride!! I just feel like the list is a mile long. Some days I feel like we are good to go and others I get overwhelmed by all the little decisions and things that need to get done!

- Wedding: June 2014 - Garden ceremony and Conservatory reception
We are fast approaching our wedding day on June 21, and I flip flop between cool cucumber and stressed. There are times I feel like there’s a million things I should be doing and other times I’m feeling in control. Such a rollercoaster but fortunately I like rollercoasters

I have days when I feel pretty stressed and worried. I still have some vendor decisions to make and a lot of small details to pull together. I feel like I’m probably forgetting things but I don’t know what they are.
I’ve had 3 dreams in the last two weeks that it was the day of the wedding and nothing was ready!
