@krazykramer:I’m “technically” a JA bride but it’s from his Robin Jillian line and there are literally NO pictures of my dress anywhere on the internet 🙁

Yep! Technically I am a “waiting” bee again (long story) so it’s going to be awhile before I can wear her…but here she is!

@Mrs. Gremmlin: That’s a gorgeous dress. I don’t think I’ve seen that one before.

@EffieTrinket: Thank you! I love it. It’s simple, but so elegant. This is the stock photo– I sort of hate it on the model, to be honest.

I am now a JA bride! I think its 8502.  Ms. Gremmlin, did you swicth the bow out for the rhinestone belt or it it a different dress?

@kokoni7: Yes, your beauty is 8502 🙂 I did. I’m not a bow person, but the bridal salon had that awesome belt and it totally made the dress for me. I also added a petticoat to make it fuller, but it’s super flowy and flattering on you!

Just to give you a heads up (I see your wedding is still a little away, but time flies), the ladies at the bridal shop told me it would be quick alterations because I only needed the hem and bustle added, so I scheduled my first fitting in mid-September. But, tomorrow marks my fourth (yes, 4th) fitting, and I have a fifth already scheduled. Because of layers, alterations may take longer than you think.

When I tried on the JA 8502 – they said the bow was to go sideways.. and i didnt know you could replace with a belt.. either way it beautiful and flattering on all size, (I’m a plus size bride) I tried on two Justin Alexander dresses! 🙂

@Cheeks923: There was no way I was keeping that bow! haha It works for some people, but it’s just attached by a little thread, so my seamstress snipped it right off. When I first tried it on, I thought it needed just a little something, and my consultant pulled the belt and I fell in love! I tried on the tea length and one other that I haven’t seen posted before. I loved them all, but 8502 (my store calls her Angelica) stole my heart. The dress journey is an interesting one, for sure!

Ms. Gremmlim, I am with you 100% on the giant bow!  I’m sure it works for some brides but not at all for me.  I’m going to have it snipped and then use it for a christmas decoration somehow.  I would like to get one of those really cute flower sashes or flower belt.  Not one that is over the top – just something danty and sweet to add to the gown and fit with my garden wedding.  I agree the gown need some kind of bling.  That is one of the things I love about it though.  I can make it my own with accessories that of my choice!  Thak you for letting me know about the alterations!  The consltant is reccomending me getting a hollow to hem where they lift it from the waist.  Maybe I should do that to avoid hemming all the layers!  I love the four layers of silk!  The fabric is breathtaking
