I feel you. I’m a few weeks out and literally have 5 pages of to-do’s. but it’s so overwhelming I don’t even know where to start. Rsvps’s are due tomorrow and there are 60 people unaccounted for. WTH people! Every little thing we are doing ourselves. Ordering/cooking/serving food, all decor/floral, all setting up. Even ordering dishes and setting tables. All our responsibility. So yeah, I’m overwhelmed. I’m afraid that without all these little personalized crafts and projects people will think its cheap or crummy. But in the back of my head I’m thinking, will anyone really even notice if these favor bags aren’t hand stamped with our initials? I know they won’t. But I also don’t want to leave out the details.

I am in denial over everything I still need to do, which I know will just bite me in the ass soon. Ahhh!

@gigglebox: Destination wouldn’t have worked for us AT ALL. Fiance is from a large immediate family (read… almost a dozen siblings) Something in the level you’re talking about wouldn’t have been an option for us.
And for me personally anyway, I’d rather spend the budget on allowing more people to join us for our day, then spending it on travel to somewhere else…. Future Husband and I will enjoy traveling just us for our honeymoon 😉
@ajillity81: Overall, I am enjoying it… but sometimes there are seriously big panic clouds that hit (like last night). I’m happy and excited, but I get a smackdown of fear every now and again hahah
@beachbride1216: Thanks for the recommendation! I’m pretty sure that could work out really well… and they look pretty nice too
I’m just thankful that this isn’t my in-laws first ‘rodeo’ so-to-speak. My fiance’s family just had a wedding on their property (which is where we’re having it) earlier this year, so they know what works and what doesn’t, and the experience of what to do and what not to do is still fresh in their minds. They’re a God Send 🙂
