I am currently at the end of week 3 of P90X. The recovery week has been perfectly timed with my trip to my moms house so I won’t get off track. Anyways, just wondering how people are liking it. I am obsessed and love it but this week has sucked because my workout buddy is also out of town. We’ll be back at it after the new year though so that is great. Anyone want to be internet P90X buddies? I am always looking for some accountability!

I just did my first video! I haven’t actually been following any plan – I’m going to rev up my fitness stuff after the holidays. But it seems cool so far!

I did a couple of cycles of it a few months back. I got frustrated because I didn’t see any results at all (and I’ve got plenty of room for results!) On the regular program I actually started bulking up, so I went down to the lean. I don’t know what was wrong with me because my body Did. Not. Budge. I switched over to Insanity and started seeing results, just in time to throw out my back!
I really enjoyed the routines, though, and my fitness level did improve. If your body shows results, it’s a great program.

I did it for 2 months worked great the only complaint is that it’s too manly. I hate pull ups! Other than that it kicks ass and certainly works if you follow the food and workout guide.

I did it a few months ago. It was great for getting me into shape but I didn’t loose a drastic amount of weight (maybe 5 pounds or so). I feel like it’s more geared towards men and it could have more cardio in it. But it’s a great program over all and I’m glad I did it. It got me ready for Insanity, which is a killer.

I agree. I did it for about 2 months and while it definitely whipped me into shape, I felt it was way too geared towards men. The Insanity (which was 1 level up) is all cardio and I felt it was much better suited for women. I highly recommened it!

Monday is day 1 of phase 2. Because I am not seeing visible results yet (and because I am crazy) I am adding in cardio in the morning. I love the workouts and I definitly am feeling stronger. The FH lost 30 pounds the first time he did this but of course, womens bodies do not react the same to things. He thinks I am nuts for adding in the cardio in the morning but if I want results I have to do it. Plus, the dress in my closet gives me a serious boost of motivation.

@jessjess I think the only reason I lost any weight was because I did the extra cardio in the morning. It was beyond torture getting up early before work to do it, but it’s totally worth it.
