I haven’t seen many others mention Reem Acra here…any fellow Reem brides on the bee?
2 nights before I bought my dress, I actually had a dream that I met her!! And she was telling me how lovely her dress would look on me!
I must be psychic. 😉

@Evie19: I so wanted a reem acra gown, all her designs are beautiful and totally appealing to my style!! I would take any of her gowns any day but went with a convenient maggie sottero dress in my area.
Love Reem, Lebanese designers are truly fabulous!
Let’s see your dress!

Im glad there is at least a fan of hers out there! 😉
Here’s the dress (but I am probably going to add tulle or a petticoat to make it more of a stiff A-line)

Beautiful!! I am in love with the Sunset Blvd dress from her Fall 2011 collection

I’m also a fan of Reem Acra. I just got her dress. It’s very pricy though. Thanks to all members in my family who make my dream come true. I also got the matching veil. It’s $8000 total. I wonder if anyone out there would like to buy if off from me for a fraction cost. I want to share this beautiful dress with someone who would love to be Reem Acra “princess”. Email me at [email protected] for more pictures.

I wore a Reem for my first wedding in 2004. I’m willing to part with it for very little $$ compared to what i bought it for!

I am a Reem Acra bride. I will be wearing Iris down the aisle next year. Here she is on the model. I have not decided on how to accessorize her but I do know I am not wearing that bolero in the pic.

These gowns are all gorgeous! All part of Reem Acra’s bridal gown genius! I love her work 🙂

I was a Ream bride. I got my dress at a store that sold samples and gave the proceeds to Parkinsons Disease research. I then had it altered to fit me.
This is a picture of my dress before the wedding–it was from the 2004 Spring collection and it was called “Unforgettable” what I loved about it was the lavender trim. I couldn’t find it anywhere else.
No one quite does details the way Ream Acra does.

I had a reem acra bodysuit made into a top for my marchesa gown! I also had a reem acra cathedral length veil. She just kills it in re: embroidery and detail!

@Evie19: I just love that gown! So beautiful!
I am a Reem Acra bride as well! I believe my gown is called “The Luxury” … though I’ve never been able to find a picture of it online. Here is a pic of it laying across the bed & a closeup of the bodice.
