I like my dress, but I am not in love with it. I fell in love with the half off at POB’s final sale. Anywayz, I think the dress looks pretty good in person, but I would love ways to make it look more amazing because I hate to admit it, but I am close to experiencing dress regret.
Sorry they are so dark!!!

The dress is gorgeous on you! Are you thinking of jewelry and veil options too (I saw your other post about a bow)… I think the huge bow, with a veil and jewelry would be amazing! I’ll try to gather some pic for inspiration. Don’t give up yet!

I think you look gorgeous!
I think it would look awesome though with a blingy belt

Or you could do the bow bigger and in the back…

I think a sash would work and maybe a flower grouping right before it flares out. Down on one side maybe.

I vote a colourful sash in one of your wedding colours. Your dress is beautiful, don’t have dress regret! Two of my friends bought 2nd dresses and both regretted spending money on a second dress. Use that money towards fun accessories instead!
A sash would show off your tiny waist too!

See how this on has the row of flowers…it wouldn’t have to be as big and it could be just a large pin, or feathers, or something else too

I’d do big bracelets on both wrists and amazing earrings… but no necklace… with the blingy belt (from above) and a simple, raw-edge, single tier, cathedral veil (gathered at the comb, so it poufs up a little)

You could also do a bolero or shrug, or change into the bolero for just the reception…

That dress is very flattering on you, and it’s just begging for a belt. However, your wait already looks fabulous so maybe you could add some detail around where the skirt flares out if you want something different?
And a crazy veil.
I actually love the simpler gowns, because then they can be dressed up with accessories.

@jjmomma:
Bless you! You are so helpful! Where is that first shrug from? It is gorgeous!!!
Thanks everyone…I see so many good ideas. I definitely think statement jewelry is the way to go. I was thinking pearls though. I have an old pearl necklace that I am dying to wear. Will that be ok if I have a crystal sash? For a veil, I was thinking birdcage or, pillbox like this one.

@Bellagiobride: Oh Lord! I love that veil! I think pearls would be beautiful, but be careful not to over accesorize. If you wear a necklace, keep the rest simple.
I think all of the jackets and shrugs are from Enzoani… I googled them because they were the first ones I thought of… I’ll look for more from other places too…

Here’s a link to a pattern for sewing a bolero similar to the first one… if you know anyone who sews… it wouldn’t be an expensive addition (I have no idea what your budget is)
