Can either of you give me the contact number of your makeup artist.  I am going to be in a Tahoe wedding and need to find a makeup artist.  Thanks!

I have heard great things about Tahoe-A-Go-Go for hair and make-up, so I am using them.  They were EXTREMELY friendly on the phone and very accomodating.  As I haven’t actually gotten married yet, I can’t give the full review… but here’s their number…

We’re getting married in July 2009 at the Shinneyboo Creek Resort in Eagle Lakes.

Who are you all using for photography?  I really want AnnieX, but she hasn’t called me back yet.  (Although I fully understand that it is busy season in the wedding photograpy world!)

I finally got Annie on the phone.  I’m really thrilled to have  her as our photographer. She’s an artistic genius!

Let me know what you decide as far as DJs.  I was going to skip this and just do an i-pod. (We love music so much)… but C’s mom really thinks we should get someone to keep things on track.

It’ll be interesting to see who you find and what you think of them.

I’m sorry about all the smoke this year, but it will make for gorgeous sunsets!

I dont know if you ladies are still on here but if you have questions just let me know. I am in Reno and just 30 minutes from Tahoe.  I can help you with vendors if you need help!

I am a Tahoe Bride.

I am getting married in September in Meyers at Paradise Park.  We are really excited to be doing a Tahoe wedding and welcoming family to our most special place!

I’ve been doing long distant planning from Chicago.  I moved here just over a year ago and Mr. Red Head and I were engaged by August.  We knew right away we’d be wed in Tahoe.  I actually knew all my life I’d be married there!

Because of all the expenses that come with a wedding, we rented a vacation home for our bridal party and chose a fairly cheap time of the year, after labor day.  Because we are familiar with the area it wasn’t extremely difficult to plan from so far away it can just get frustrating with all those smaller details that we struggle with, a photographer, flowers, hair and make up and so on…

I’ve been using many sites and many friends for help!

Welcome to the hive Ms. Red Head!  And I feel your pain on the long distance planning.  We knew the area so well, but there is no substitution for reading someone’s body language as you ask them for a flower collar for your dog!

Yay for Tahoe brides!  And wow, Ms. Red Head, you are definately planning from a distant.  Paradise Park will be absolutely gorgeous, though.  Lucky girl!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I actually just spent a few minutes typing out on the other posts about my planning so far!  Enjoy my saga!  haha
