I married at 40, for the first time!  Second marriage for my hubby, but he proposed within 9 months of dating!  He was def worth the wait! I didn’t settle and I found a great man!

I was very right in my post six months ago that it would be a hard transition since we had both lived alone for so long. It has not been easy.

Ahh it has been difficult for me as well!  My hubby has full custody of his two teenage girls, so we have no alone time!  And I’m a step mom too….help, lol!

First time bride that will be 40 when I get married. Fiance will turn 30 the weekend before we get married and it’s his first time too. Thankfully, none of my friends have used the “cougar” word. Then again, it helps that most of them think he’s older than he is! ๐Ÿ˜€

I will be 38 when I say ‘I Do’ for the very first time and the FH will almost be 42.  His first marriage (and last) as well.  :o)

I will be 38 when I get married. Gosh! I hate saying that! This will be my first marriage and Howard’s 2nd. He first married fresh out of high school. He will be 39 on our wedding day. I’m so glad he has NO children!

Hello Sisters! I’m 36 and finally getting married. I”ve been in my relationship for many years, but I just was not ready to be legally bound to anyone. At 36, and a mortgage with my Fiance, it seems more functional to make it legal. Now, I’m enjoying the promise of a beautiful ceremony.

I am 38, second marriage, FH is 49, third marriage. I have 2 kids, teens, and he has 2 kids over 20. Funny thing is my kids act more mature than his kids. lol. But all that counts is that we put each other first.

I am 35, getting married for the first time on June 12 of this year.

Hoping to start a family, soon, too. Sometimes I get tired of people talking about “how I waited” and all that jazz. I met my fiance in July of 2008, got engaged a year later, and plan to get married a year after that. It’s like people think I stalled to have kids, when I just hadn’t met the right guy yet, and plus I wasn’t ready. I think it’s smarter to wait until it’s right. Had I met him five years ago, I would have felt the same, and probably would have married sooner, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

I am totally in love, and marrying my best friend. Who cares if you’re 20, 30, 40 or even 50 when it happens, just so long as it happens?

I’m 38 and will be 39 when FH (35) and I get married in August. My “first and only” marriage, and his second. No kids yet – just three cats. ๐Ÿ˜€ Like snichols11, we’re also hoping to start a family soon.

Most of my friends and all of my family have been amazing about my taking my time to find the right person to share my life with – I think I was harder on me than anyone else at times. But things fell into place when they were meant to – I’ve had some great life experiences that might not have happened if I had married younger, and definitely wouldn’t have met FH. ๐Ÿ™‚
