Oo OO pick me! I am doing it currently and it kicks my butt, and I love it. I really felt it this morning when I went get into the car, ouchies!

There is another thread about this on the fitness board where people who have completed it have opinions, you should check it out.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago. I got through about a week and was exhausted with the restricted nutrition. I’m going to give it another go closer to summer (Start in May..) Right now i’m doing the Brazilian Butt lift. It’s a 30 day plan- similar diet to the P90x but a little less restrictive. I’m walking around like I just got off a horse because of these and I love it. The moves are fun and I enjoy it!!

I did about 5-6 weeks of a P90x modified Doubles routine late spring early last summer.  I was already pretty fit, and while it kicked my butt I felt like I could kick butt doing it!  Then, my knees started to give me issues so I took a 1.5 week break during a holiday home to Texas… then I got back and procrastinated another week letting my body rest… then I was in a car accident (with my Fiance, some lady fell asleep at the wheel at 2:30pm and ran into me going about 50) and fractured my shin.. not to mention the whiplash and sprained shoulder.  So…. Between August and now… I’ve gained about 8+ pounds… and a few inches in the mid section.

I’m a collegiate volleyball player, and am doing a D league with friends.  I almost DIED jumping around and diving for the balls in our first game a week ago! That’s when it hit me how out of shape I got!

I started day 1 of P90x doubles today… but I’m sticking to the plan. i.e. not actually doing double workouts until a few weeks in.

OMG, during the warm up I almost died! Then, doing jumping jacks, I could feel the fat jiggle and pull with gravity!  I wanted to cry right then and there!  FI is awesome and doesn’t think I’ve gained weight, but my pants and scale know differently!

Here’s the new plan!

Follow p90x doubles plan as meant to be

Follow diet restrictions, cut back on wine! (for lent, giving it up all together!)

3 times a week add the Spinning class offered at my gym

In March, I’m going to add 2 times a week around that in the pool to get back into shape for summer and surf season.

June 1st – Start surfing 3-6 times a week again + continue P90x and spinning, no swimming. (hopefully lots of this added flab is gone by then for bathing suits 🙁

Surf season lasts into October! hooray! Keep it up until I can relax in Mexico or wherever we end up!

 

I’m so lazy right now, and it’s driving me nuts! But I’ve been too lazy to change.  Today is day 1 of that change!

I own it!! My BFF recommended it after she had her baby and said I should use it after mine. I will tell you I do alot of cardio and this DVD kicks my behind!! I think you have to start off in the mind frame to get to certain points of the workout cause I know I still cant get through the entire part of the YogaX but I try not to give up. GOOD LUCK!

Haha, my first round I NEVER did the whole yoga X.  My housemate was a yoga instructor so we would do it together on those days.  I got so tired of how repetitive it got, and then how hard it got 🙂

Me! FI and I cheat a little…we often do not work out 6 days a week. Maybe 4 or 5. It’s so hard for me to do because of how long everything is. I think they do get a little easier though once you go through everything once. I’m a total couch potato and I haven’t been to the gym in over a year, but I am still hanging in there and still able to go all the way through each dvd…just when they’re talking about their 25 push ups, I’m talking about my 4! I hate it while working out and I’m always giving Tony the finger, but it feels so good later.

Fiance is doing it and has been for a week now. Doing the diet and everything. I plan to do some of the DVDs each week, but not follow the plan exactly. I did YogaX yesterday and only got through 40 mins!! And I do yoga several times a week and it was hard!! I think today I will either do the 2nd half of the yogaX or I will do Kenpo or Plyometrics.
