gemstoneheart:  I love scary movies and totally believe in demons And evil beings. I don’t believe in aliens, but I’am O- blood and there are theories that people with that blood type are alien or not from this planet.

I have had an interest in the paranormal (specifically hauntings, demons, etc) ever since I can remember and am a firm believer. I’ve had a couple of unexplained experiences over the years but none of them overly scary or anything like that. My Fiance is not a believer at all, which makes for some interesting conversations at times.

me!! More so on the side of spirits/angels, less so on the demons and dark stuff (although I do love scary movies! just don’t want to invite it into my real life…). I absolutely believe in supernatural stuff, spirit communication/psychic abilities, etc.

gemstoneheart:  Haha I know the feeling! I just tell my Fiance anyway if I have found something particularly interesting – he’ll occasionally indulge me a little. Fortunately, my best friend is somewhat of a believer so we chat about stuff too. We’re actually planning to go on a ghost tour of an old psychiatric hospital in the next few months, dragging Fiance and her boyfriend along for the ride lol.

gemstoneheart:  I never thought I would be the kind of person who talked about people’s energies and stuff like that, but as I’ve gotten older, I totally believe in energy/aura. For example, every animal we’ve ever taken care of, including the cat we currently have, has been drawn to my husband over me. He has some kind of energy that animals are attracted to.

Me!!! All of it, especially ufo and alien stuff !!  I used to have some weird stuff going on as a kid, but I’m bipolar and do hallucinate without medication so it’s always been kind of brushed off as part of my illness, but sometimes even looking at it all from a healthy time in my life I always wonder, was it really just my illness?  my first psychiatrist I saw had an interesting viewpoint.  He told me he had a patient who would hallucinate alien or ghost type people, similar to what I used to see and the patient would see them in the office with him but obviously he didn’t see them.  He told me that he was never totally confidant the people weren’t there and that he just couldn’t see them. He did believe that taking the medication to get rid of the hallucinations was good for a healthy productive life though, regardless of where the beings originated.

I practice witchcraft and am Native American. So we are more connected to nature and the Spirit world of Shamanism.

gemstoneheart:  Omg what a small world – I live in Australia, too! I live in Melbourne and we’re heading out to Ararat for the ghost tour (we’re making a weekend of it because of the drive). I haven’t been to Port Arthur since I was little but I would love to go back – I remember the location as feeling quite sad and my Fiance has never been. I also find the historical aspects of the site interesting. I’ve also been to Old Melbourne Gaol but agree that it wasn’t that scary at all. I would love to go to Monte Cristo but we’ve never been anywhere close otherwise I’d drop in lol. There’s a mostly abandoned psychiatric hospital near where my mum lives (known as La Rundel) which we used to visit occasionally when we were younger and I’ve done a tour of supposedly haunted locations around the CBD (the Old Cobb & Co factory was really creepy but they’ve unfortunately torn it down now).
