I THINK I have found what may be perfect for our at-home reception here in Texas. I adore this dress and it is lacey (requirement number one), cool for summer, and very feminine. I would probably have it shortened to tea length.
Anyway my concern is how it fits. Anyone know if it is true to size?
Second huge concern (pun intended) is the support it gives for my DDs. It says it has cups sewn in, but it has such a super low back tht it concerns me . If one needed a bra with that dress, what the heck kind of bra is going to work??
I found one on Bravo Bride but it’s a size 20 and the seller says it is pretty true to sie. I just wondered if any bees had tried this on or worn it and could give feedback. I wear a street 16 but sometimes this can go either way (14 or 18) depending on the designer. I don’t know how costly it would be to alter this dress down… the whole point is to not spend what I would on a ‘normal’ wedding dress since this is for our casual at home reception but I LOVE lace and LOVE this dress!
Then I have to find one on the recycled market since the dress is no longer available at Nordstrom or anywhere else. 🙁
