They are super expensive and very particular so I am not surprised.  I am glad you aren’t getting one after all.  And a $90 knock off would have been 90 bucks down the drain.  They are cheap-looking enough as it is.  What do you love so much about them and maybe we can suggest alternatives.

She is a little over the top for my taste, ‘risque’, and overpriced…..but I can appreciate her designs on others.  Do you have a pic of the dress you like from her??

I think she can be a tad over-rated.    🙂

During my Kleinfelds field trip I tried on three of her dresses.  They are made incredibly well.  The boning, the corset work, the stictching was incredible.  That being said- I could buy a used car for the price of the dress.

I think in her case- if you have to ask- you cant affort it-   I dont think they start at less than $5,000. But it was fun to try them on

@Zaria: Im glad youre not getting the dress! Im actually not surprised at the lack of Pnina lovers – her dresses are VERY risque and in my opinion a little skanky and non appropriate for a wedding! yes, the stitching and beadwork may be beautiful but they are just too over the top!

hmmmm…maybe try a Maggie.  Affordable and apparently they are incredibly flattering because of the corset back.  As for sexy, totally taste specific but to me sexy doesn’t have to mean exposed.  That being said, I think some of the maggies are totally sexy.  You can definitely find something out there.  Good luck in your search.  Here is something you may like: http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pageSize=100&page=1&style=V7099

@Zaria: Were you planning on wearing the lining or leaving your midriff bare underneath the corset? And will this be your wedding dress or your second dress just for the reception?

*some* of her dresses are beautiful… others, not so much. I can’t justify spending a small fortune to look skanky, there are cheaper and more appropriate times to do that Wink
