I won’t be getting married in Portland, but I have collected a ton of stuff.  We are doing dinner family style and have already purchased about 30 salad bowls, silverwear settings for 300, linens about 6 or 7 glass cake stands, beverage dispensers, 30 caddies that have oil and vinegar jars and salt and pepper shakers, 400 feet of cafe lights and much much more.

We’re getting married June 25, 2011 and my brother is getting married in either late August or early September of 2011 and all this stuff would be available to sell after that.

We’re in Eastern Oregon,  but could get this stuff to Portland after!

I may also be able to get some of this stuff to you in between the weddings too!  We will be living in Mississippi at the time, but my brother and his Fiance are in Salem…so they could probably pick it up from you after your wedding.

I’m not sure what he will be needing, they have talked about using our 12 white linens and the silverware. Oh and we have a ton of glass votive holders, and I think they will be using those too.

Right now, we are planning on renting the plates, but if we could find something cheaper I’d be open to that.  However, in Eastern Oregon the plates are only 40 cents a piece to rent, so it’s probably going to be difficult to find them cheaper than that.

I would be cool with a small rental fee on items.  If you want to pm me with a list of stuff you’re looking for that would be awesome.  Seriously, I’ve been collecting stuff for quite a while!

What are you doing for decor?  Our colors are deep purple, pale yellow with a lot of ivory lace thrown in.  We also have about 12 black candleabras that we will be using for centerpieces, that hold tapers.  They are mismatched, and have been collected from thrift stores and spray painted.

We have 10 bowls that are the Trygg bowl from Ikea, that I bought from another bride.  The rest are pretty big.  We got them from WalMart after Christmas when they were on clearance and they come with a punch ladle and salad tongs.  They are supposed to be a punch/salad bowl combo.

We are using the cake plates to do a pie bar and they have lids.  They can also be inverted to make a trifle dish.

The only other serving thing I can think of are a ton of bread baskets and small glass bowls for butter from the dollar store.  We also have a bunch of wooden fork/spoon combos.  But, I’m afraid they might not last through the wedding.  We bought them at Ikea for 49 cents a set if you are interested.

I don’t know what exactly my brother will need, but I’m sure we can work out a super cheap rental fee though!  I have been trying to find somewhere to rent “salad” bowls because we are going to have 30 tables and are serving salad and pasta, with 2 types of sauce at each table.

I just got married a few weeks and I have some stuff that I would be willing to sell.  We have three large standing metal candle screens that hold votive candles, ten large and ten medium glass silhouette vases, a dozen 12″ centerpiece mirrors, two bags of pink flat glass marbles, and two ivory veils that I did not wear.  Prices are negotiable.  Post or message me if you are interested!
