I just started doing Pure Barre a month ago. It is a mix of ballet, pilates, and weight training as described by the company. I am getting addicted and the studio here is now offering bridal packages, so I am in for atleast another three months.
Has anyone else done this? How long did you do it for and what kind of results did you get? Did you do any other exercises or change your diet?
I am currently taking the classes 3-4 times per week, riding once a week, and trying to eat better (needs improvement). So far I have only seen a change in my flexibilty, although my mom has been doing it slightly longer and is seeing some results in the way her clothes fit and her weight. The owner keeps telling me to give her three months and I will be wowed. I hope so! This is hard work!
