I haven’t picked my dress yet, but I have found these threads super helpful, so here are some Maggie samples I tried on. I am a street size 16/18.
Rachael (sample size 14):
Jenna (Sample size 12 I think; most flattering by far, but not quite what I was looking for so I haven’t been able to go for it):
Starla (WAY too small sample size 8, but I loved it):

This is me in Maggie Sottero Decadence. The sample is a size 12 or 14, the actual gown will be a 16. I love what the corset does to my figure! In another store I saw a really petite bride trying on big Sottero ballgowns and they just swallowed her up! So I definitely think the more poofier Sottero dresses look better on bigger women!

This is Maggie’s Chadley in a sample size 8 but I ordered it in a size 16. I LOVE what Maggie dresses do to your figure! Please excuse the crazy arms. The third pic is a pic of the back that I took at another boutique.

I wore this dress for my 9/10/11 wedding and I loved it!!! I am typically size 14 or 16 with curves and this dress fit perfectly and showed off my curves. With the corset back you can create curves if you naturally dont have them. I am now selling my “Jenna” in hopes to help another bride get a beautiful designer gown at an amazing price. I paid over $1300 for the dress and veil but am willing to let them go to another beautiful bride for $675 plus shipping. Check out my pictures on FaceBook (Laura Brummitt Harvey) If you are interested message me on FaceBook or email me at [email protected].

@Creative4ABride: Britney is a gorgeous gown. It looks great on you congrats!
I tried on the exact one too! Both the Moms loved it on me and it definitely hugged you in the right areas and gave you curves. It was probably in my top 3 for a while. Lots of nice detail and the back was beautiful too. Great deal too.

@julz114: what bridal salon did you get your dress from?

I wore Maggie Sottero Miri for our February 4th wedding! I loved the way this dress hugged my curves and floated around me as I danced. I wish I could wear it again 🙂

I’ve ordered my Beatrice dress and cannot wait for it to come back (still a few months to go) The dresses are fairly pricey, and can take 8 months to arrive but the weight and quality of them make them completely worth it.
Here are some pics of the Beatrice (Im a UK size 16, and the sample I am wearing is a 14 which was too small, but you get the general idea. The shop ordered me a size 18 to ensure my bust would be covered and fit comfortably – hense the extra pieces of material over the bust in the pic – so I guess I will have some sewing to do when it finaly arrives)

@Missblueyes: Hi, I sent you a message, but yes, I’m thinking of selling it! I’d rather it go off and make another curvy bee happy rather than hang sadly in my closet. This dress was made to move! 🙂
