I feel like I’ve seen it more than once on the bee. I can’t pinpoint what users though 🙁

I just picked the Bernadette as my dress!!!! I’m getting it without the sleeves and it will instead be a scalloped sweetheart neckline with deep vee back, but I also have a pic with the sleeves in case you were wondering. This is the ivory overlay with the champagne underlay (I think!) It is SO gorgeous in person… the detailing is to die for!

I just recently had my fittings and went to take my bridals last weekend.  I’ll have my final nip and tuck at the end of December and then wedding in Janueary!

@Aggie10: Did you wear any type of bra/bustier or did you have to have cups sewn in?

@DeadUtopia I bought a backless bra from Victoria Secret and I had cups sewn in…I’m very flat and need all the help I can get haha

But don’t have dress regret!  I bet your dress is beautiful!  I’ve seen lots of dresses since that I think “gee that sure would be pretty and probably looks great on the dance floor and in pictures,” but then I think about picking out my dress and think about the reasons I like the one I have.     There are just too many lovely options out there 🙂

How tall are you and did you have to have the dress hemmed any? I found a used one in my size, but it’s petite (3 inches shorter) so I’m thinking I might be able to get away with it since the dress was so long when I tried it on at the salon. With my shoes (small heels) I’d be about 5’8″.

@DeadUtopia: I am 5′ 6 1/2″ and with a 3″ heel I will not need it to be hemmed…based on this the petite would be too short

Lovely pictures! Is this a slight slim A line, or fully fitted around the hips and thighs? It looks more slim aline to me? 🙂

@lindzi34:

Thank you! I’m 5’6″ so I needed to hear that from someone who was about my height! I guess it would be safer to just order through the salon.

@Elolith:

When I tried it on the sample was a little small, but it felt fitted midway through the thigh and then it kind of fishtails. It’s like a mermaid and a sheath had a baby. The website calls it a “slim line gown.”

I wonder if adding a layer of crinoline to the bottom would give it a more defined shape?
