Planning on making an appointment either sometime in December or January during Christmas break. So far I have found a couple of dresses that I really love on their site and can’t wait to try on. Our wedding is going to be Great Gatsby inspired with colors being black, white, and gold.
Here is one dress that I am really loving, of course I would pair it with a belt/sash.

I just bought mine last week. I had not intended to purchase yet (wedding April 2018), but the sales lady pulled out a gorgeous dress that was being discontinued. I tried it on, and it was perfect. I took the sample home that day. I wish I had pictures of me in the dress, but here is a link to it. Good luck with your dress shopping!

I had looked online before and picked out a few dresses I liked. I went to David’s Bridal this month and tried on some of those dressses but didn’t plan on purchasing that day. My stylist was wonderful and understanding. While the samples had great sales, many of them had makeup smudges or decorative damages.
I remembered they had a petite version in the dress I wanted (only sold online). I called in and after CS telling me it was the last one, I had to get it. She gave me a discount, free shipping, and even rang the bell for me 🙂 To my delight and suprise, it arrived in 48hrs, brand new!
This is picture of the regular size, the petite is going to save me $$ in hem alterations!
Keep in mind that they say it’s a busy time to go, and during the week is more favorable. Also, definitely try on dresses you weren’t anticipating, you might be surprised!
Good luck with your search!

I did! Saved some pics on my phone of dresses on their site that I liked. Well I hated all of them on me. But the lady was great and asked me why I did and didn’t like certain dresses and helped me find two that I liked. After thinking about it for a week or two and going back, I made the decision out of the two.

I went to DB during their big sale in October after my boyfriend and I decided we were ready to get married. I had a budget of $500 or less (We are having a small wedding and are shooting for a low budget DIY wedding and reception)
The girl was super helpful and mindful of my budget. She found a few options I had pulled from their website and this gem I had overlooked online. $450 on clearance rack and rang up on sale for $400. It also needs minimal alterations so I’m saving money there as well. I’m just hoping my fiancé will love it!
Don’t mind the buttons in the back, it was time consuming to button them all so we didn’t when I tried it on the 2nd time.

Love your dress! So elegant! The sleeves and the lace at the neckline are so pretty

I bought the same dress then got wedding dress regrets and bought another dress. I loved the dress, but always invisioned a lace gown. I ended up buying a casablanca dress. I will return this dress for my veil, head piece and bridesmaid dresses. Thankfully, DB are awesome and is willing to work with me to exchange the dress because I cannot get a refund. I was thinking about selling it. The dress is beautiful and very inexpensive, but too simple for me plus my coworker just got married with the same dress before me.

I bought this dress in October. It was my second visit to DB. It is not the dress I thought I was going to get. I thought I wanted strapless and lace. They took this one off the mannequin for me to try because they thought it would look good. The minute I put it on, I knew that this dress was meant for me

Thank you so much! I was looking for exactly what you described. I thought about adding some lace to the bottom of the sleeves so it isn’t such a harsh cutoff. I’m just not sure if it’s worth it. I first need to at least find someone to hem it for a reasonable price lol.

Wow! That dress looks amazing on you and I’m kind of the same. I’ve always imagined myself wearing a long sleeve lace dress for my wedding. But this one just seems to pull at my heart strings. I can’t wait to go try it on and you can’t beat the price of it either.

Thanks, my Mom loved that feature!
Fun fact, I had one of the dresses in my shopping cart for a few days, and David’s Bridal sent me a 10% off coupon as an incentive to buy, needless to say it worked! So I’d recommend putting anything in there just in case they send you something!
