I have a couple of big traditional “Wedding Bible” types of books, but would love to look at something more applicable to a modern day wedding. A book that doesn’t assume I have a $30K+ budget, a stable of bridesmaids willing to do my DIY projects, and a traditional church ceremony with sit down dinner. A book that tells me how to involve bridesmaids who live in Hong Kong, Canada, and all over the US; how to mix different traditions and keep families happy; how to explain a honeymoon registry to older generations; how to most effectively coordinate with vendors when planning long distance; how to prepare my friend to officiate.
Perhaps that’s asking for too much in one book 🙂 But wanted to check anyway. So has anyone found any wedding planning books particularly relevant to the realities of today’s brides?
