@SarahTee:  People don’t respond immediately to these posts…be patient and you may get some responses. I’d recommend checking out the Philly vendor lists…then you can go to their websites and see photos. I am using Dylan Michael Cosmetics and I do Updos. I heard great things about Beke Beau and Cheekadee for make-up. I also heard Beautiful Brides Philly does a great job and Up Your Do for hair. If you search for Philadelphia make-up on here, you’ll get a lot of posts with suggestions. Good luck.

I booked Happily Ever After Hair, they’re located in Cherry Hill NJ but you can pay their travel fee.  I was really impressed by their pictures so I am excited 🙂

I used Dylan Michael cosmetics. Cindy is the lead makeup artist and she did a bunch of my friends’ weddings too. Cindy was booked so I got a newer makeup artist who was awesome. I was nervous since the reviews are all about Cindy. Very reasonable, came to my suite. I went to their studio in the suburbs for a trial.

I think they do hair too but I used someone else since someone had gifted it to me – Marcus of Lions Mane. He is incredible.

Congrats and happy planning. We are 😉

I got married in 2012, and I also used Cindy Singer at Dylan Michael cosmetics for makeup – I would definitely recommend her, and her pricing was very reasonable compared to other makeup artists.  My friend who got married around the same time used Jill Fulop at Face the Occasion (her sister had used her as well) and I thought she did a great job as well.

For hair, I used Calista (at Calista Brides) and my friend used Meghan (at Hair by Meghan).  Calista was a little spotty with communication (showed up very late to the hair trial, e-mail wasn’t always as timely as I expected) but came through fine on the wedding day.  My friend was very happy with Meghan.  Hope this helps!

I am also using Cindy Singer at Dylan Michael. For hair, I am using her business partner Jil Kozar at Up your Do! I loved them both at my trials.

@SarahTee:  I am also using Dylan Michael Cosmetics for makeup and have my makeup trial in April. For hair, I will also be using Hair by Meghan, but haven’t booked my trial yet.

Would love to hear more reviews/feedback from people who have used the same vendors!

I used Mack Stylists for my hair and they also do makeup on location. Totally over the moon happy with them!
