Lately, I have been obsessing over silver wedding dresses. Thanks to Say Yes to the Dress which showed a beautiful Pnina Tornei (probably misspelled) silver wedding dress. Unfortunately silver wedding dresses are not all that common. So I have to ask , did anyone choose a silver dress for their big day? Show me some pics and let me know that I’m not alone with my love for silver wedding dresses!

@Jennyemm: Haha, I just watched the exact same episode!! With the finale dress, quite the stunner…$34 000 😉 I’m curious to see what other bees post…

There is absolutely nothing wrong with thinking outside of the box for a wedding gown, esp. since the dress should reflect you. I personally like metallic/sparkly gowns, so I’m with you there.
I found these brides in a silver dress (2d and last photos). Also, this fab bride had 6 dresses, and one of them was silverish:
However, are you talking about this Pnina? Because this dress is an all-around travesty (maybe aside from the colour).

@MlleFabuleux: wow six dresses! that’s just so crazy to me. And I have to say I love the Pnina. I wouldn’t wear it, because I could never pull it off but on her it’s so edgy . But I like super unique things<3

@Jennyemm: I am with you on that. I would much rather see someone wear that silver Pnina than wear a typical, boring a-line (esp. if the silver is more her personality). I do think it’s high time we inject more of our personalities into our weddings.

I’m not wearing one, but I considered one. Maggie Sottero has a color called “Silver Haze,” and it’s lovely. I believe it was this one that I tried on. It’s a little lighter (more like the top than the bottom) in person:
ETA: Wow, that’s a huge picture…

That Pnina is the ugliest dress I think I have ever seen.

@Miss Leopard: Almost agreed. Some of those dresses on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding are uglier.

I really disliked that Pnina, but i dislike most of her dresses anyway.
