I’m an Alpha Gamma Delta and we have a song we sing during wedding receptions (all the sisters circle around the bride) then we did a cheer.  Darling Husband is a Delta Chi and they also have a cheer done during receptions.  It was quite fun and made for some great pictures!

ETA: Four of my six BMs were also sorority sisters.

I’m an Alpha Xi and I’m having pink roses in my bouquet (our national flower).  I also may put our pin on my ribbon or something, but haven’t decided yet.

@Chiotilidieo:  i actually found it at a hallmark store – but, i found this one if youre looking for an owl (the pandora clasp should make it easy to put a ribbon or something threw and then pin him in)

I’m a Chi O too, and I’m planning on using the embroidered hankerchief my big sis gave me and tucking it into my garter.

@Mrs.KMM: OMG how cool, I’m an AGD too!! πŸ˜€ I think I remember hearing about a song like that… since we don’t exactly get to do too many candle-passing ceremonies nowadays I heard that there was a reception tradition instead. Can you send it to me? Maybe I should PM you, haha.

@Chiotilidieo: I love the pin in the bouquet. I think maybe that plus doing some sort of house tradition with your sisters at the wedding would be perfect. Like you said, you don’t wanna be over-the-top about it. Just keep it fun and simple. Welcome to WB, by the way! πŸ™‚

These are really great ideas.  I’m a D Phi E and never really thought about it until this post but I love your ideas.

I’m in a local sorority that’s only at my university. I think I’m going to wear my pin somewhere on my dress, though I don’t know if it should show or be a little hidden. I wasn’t the most active sister, but my sorority means a lot to me, since it was my only social outlet, and is where all of my college friends come from. πŸ™‚ Also, I think the sisters I invite may circle around me and sing our hymn. I didn’t invite many, so we’ll see.

I am a Phi Mu and I used quatrefoils (our symbol) all over… on the cake, the shape of the programs, in our wedding logo, etc. My wedding colors were blush pink and champagne, my spin-off of rose and white. πŸ™‚

EDIT: I also wore my MOH’s (sorority sister) badge in my dress as my something borrowed.
