I tired on Veronica and really liked it, but ultimately went with Allure Couture C184. I liked Veronica how you could remove a panel underneath and the bottom looked different. I think that’s how the shop owner said it. She also said to have alterations save the extra panel and then velcro it back. Never throw it away. We also pinched the top to look more like a sweetheart . Really, a beautiful gown! Good choice!

I went dress shopping last week, and went to a store specifically to try on this dress.  From the photos, I was convinced this could be the dress for me and I had pretty high hopes for this dress…but it just didn’t work!

I’m so glad it worked for you – it is a truly beautiful dress!

The Veronica is my wedding dress but I only have pics of me trying it on since my wedding isn’t until May!

I loved the Veronica and I thought it would be my dress but the skirt was way too poofy for me and a bit much in general.  Darn! It’s such a beautiful dress! I went with the Tracey instead for a softer look.

I’m a Veronica bride too 🙂 just posted some photos yesterday of when I first tried it on although its 3 sizes too big so can’t wait to finally get it in my size 🙂 . Are any of you ladies having any alterations other than length? I want to have a sweetheart neckline I think an maybe it to be made more fitted near the bottom to accentuate the mermaid ! X

@Pearl-princess:hii!   i am also planning on getting it made into a sweetheart as well as making the bottom more fitted. The size I tried on was huge…but the consultant strapped me in and i loved it! Lol

Hi there, I am a veronica too. Are any of you sewing the belt to the dress? I like the belt, but I do not like the bow on the back, I feel like it covers too much. What are you planning to do? Also, I always wanted a cathedral veil, but I don’t know if it will be too much with this dress. Are you wering a veil?

@Greenpat468:   I hadn’t  thought of that but its a good idea ! I won’t have my first official fitting. Till August when my dress comes in as I’ve only tried on a sample up till now .

I was also unsure as to wether to wear a veil or not . I’m thinking I want me hair down so may not wear a veil at all and just have a side clip still undecided . Ill try the dress on with all accessories at my fitting and see how I feel .

have you got any  photos of you in the dress ?

No, I tried on the dress in a shop that didn’t allow photos until you buy it, but I bought the dress from a different store, and they didn’t have the sample to try it on, so no photos until It gets here, early september.

@Greenpat468:  I bet u can’t wait I know I can’t lol . Do you know of any websites were you can edit a photo to see what it would look like with alterations done ? I’d love to see what the dress would look like once I’ve had it altered !
