I’d run homw and shower before the tan. The lotion last night isn’t great. I jst go in as clean and dry as I can

Before: Shave/exfoliate, make sure your skin is as clean and dry as possible. Make sure you’re either wearing no makeup or you bring makeup remover wipes, and if you have long hair something to put it up with. Wear loose/darker colored clothing as residue will get on them.

During: If this is an airbrush session, it’s really the responsibility of whoever is doing it. I’ve never done the booth spray tans and don’t recommend them tbh.

After: If you can get by without wearing a bra or tight clothing, don’t. Do not shower for at least 4 hours. The longer you leave it on, the darker it will be. If you shower in a few hours, just rinse off without using soap. If you shower the next day/when you shower with soap, handwash only as it will help the tan last longer. Moisturize like crazy.

I always schedule mine (airbrush, never booth) for the evening. I shower quickly and exfoliate right before, and I wear loose fitting sweats with a thong and no bra. All clothes come off besides the thong. Skip the deodorant until afterwards, and I usually go to sleep in those same clothes and then shower in the morning. Moisturizer as much as you can to make it last!
