My wedding is in 3 weeks…ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I am trying to come up with a really great purple drink as our signature cocktail but am coming up blank. I recently came across the new Three Olives Purple vodka, but once I mixed it with Sprite it just wasn’t a pretty shade of purple. I particularly like champagne and vodka drinks but I’m open to any suggestions.

@tmg128: Chambord and champagne will give you a gorgeous purple colored cocktail… delicious too. Accent with a blackberry in the glass.
Chambord and vodka with a blackberry works too.

KatyElle beat me to the punch! I love Champagne (actually, I like Asti) and Chambord and it is a pretty purple color. Also, look up the drink Vampire Kiss – I think it is Sprite and Chambord and it is also purple.

for a bit of a twist on the suggestions above, try champagne with chambord and a splash of st. germain (elderflower liqueur). for light purple drinks, try champagne with domaine de canton ginger liqueur and lavender syrup.

Vodka with blackberry Izze soda is deliciousss. Or some other purple juice. That’s as creative as my coctails get, vodka + juice of your choice. 😉

@tmg128: If you take your mixture vodka and sprite and add in 1/2 shot of blue curcacao it will give you an amazing bright purple shade and it will be delish too

There is a drink called a Purple Mother F-er that is a bright shade of purple and yummy. I don’t recall what’s in it but I am sure you can google. Of course, you would have to rename it for your wedding

If you mix raspberry sourpuss and blue curacao together, you get a tasty purple shooter (I think you could probably mix it with sprite too, might be worth a try). Unfortunately, the name of the drink is ‘pornstar’, but I’m sure you could re-name it for your wedding! 🙂

I saw a show where the bride dissolved Jolly Ranchers into good vodka, then had shot glasses and mixers like Sprite and club soda. It was VERY pretty and inexpensive.
