I have a genetic defect where I lack the enzyme to make skin oil. I have what you have all the time. Neutrogena Emulsion is the best topical treatment I have ever used. But I have discovered that vit. E, Omega Fatty Acids and vit. D really help my skin a LOT. I wish I had known this before.

I just bought a thing of raw coconut oil and I am hoping that will help.  I also am going to get an aloe plant- I think that raw aloe is the best form and I will put it straight on my hands.  My hands are super itchy and it is driving me mad!

I use Josie Maran Argan Oil on my face, and Pure Romance’s Body Dew on the rest of my body… both are oil based so I’ve found they stay hydrated longer.

Neutrogena hand cream – the Norwegian formula one. It’s thick when it goes on but it’s so effective on dry skin. It’s cheap too 🙂

I second the Neutrogena hand cream- Norwegian formula! Unscented if I can get it. You can get it at Costco, I think there are 2 or 3 tubes in the package? Very inexpensive and it’s amazing!

Vaseline. It works wonders if you put it on a night and then when you wake up- smooth soft skin!
