Mink oil?  It comes in a tin like soft wax and you rub it in.

Wear them a LOT. That’s how us cowgirls do it… lol. Just make sure you’re wearing a nice thick pair of socks first ๐Ÿ˜‰

An easy way to do it is to soak them in a bathtub til the leather is saturated.

Wrap your feet in plastic and wear them til they dry. The leather will be molded around your foot.

Keep them in your bathroom when you take a shower and wear them when you get out. The heat and steam will help. I’ve also heard that filling them with bags of water and putting them in the freezer works too, but I’ve never personally tried that method.

@minniemluv:  I wouldn’t imagine so. Leather is still skin, it breathes, stretches and molds. You’re going to sweat in them, sweat will be absorbed into the leather and that doesn’t discolor it.

My old farrier was a typical cowboy and he broke in all his cowboy boots this way.
