    Make sure to drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep!  Seriously, nothing is worse than feeling exhausted an overwhelmed during your comps!  I went through masters and doctorate comps, oh man, such fond memories… 🙂

    Definitely talk to other students in your dept who have already taken it. While my dept doesn’t give the same questions (we do one day oral, one day written), they can give you an idea of how hard to study. They also were great about telling me nice things that helped calm me down a little.
