I did the exact same thing as you! Lol I got stuff at Sally’s and completel fried my hair. This was 2 years ago and since then I’ve been taking really good care of it and not using much heat on it and it’s finally getting healthy again. My bestie is a hair stylist and reccommended the joico k pak for a treatment for damaged hair. I’m going blonde for my wedding too and I’m getting her to do balyage

i tried going blonde once, and when i put the sallys toner in my hair, part of it went grey !!! i thought i was going to have a heart attack that day, LOL. It cost a couple hundreds dollars to fix, just go to a salon, itll be cheaper then you think in the end.

milabeehappy:  they should be able to blend all that together. when I’ve done it to clients in the past it’s usually taken at least twice.mthen factor in the upkeep to stay that light if you’re naturally dark. I tell clients that they have to be willing to pay for the upkeep, which is every 8ish weeks, and can be costly. Also the shampoo and conditioners you’re going to want to get to keep the hair healthy.

Don’t do it! I went dark brown to ash blonde and it turned my hair orange. It couldn’t be fixed because apparently that’s what happens when you try and dye light dye ontop of dark high. I tried a balayage and it just fried my ends. I did this last April and I am still trying to grow out the damage.

Blonde hair is overrated. I’d take healthy hair over blonde anyday
