This isn’t a mystery story, but I have a deep seeded fear of snakes, and it totally freaks me out that this did happen!
FYI, for those afraid of snakes, you might not want to click on that.

so I don’t believe in paranormal or alien encounter stories, I honestly believe those people are either lying, have mental issues, or have false memories (confabulation).
however, the size of our universe is unknown so I don’t discount the idea that there very well could be other sentient beings out there. I love thinking about first contact: when or where it will happen? will I be alive at the time? what will happen? it freaks me out but it also kind of excites me.

my friend would be right there with you. She would freak! I love snakes though and they’re non venomous so I would just keep them around. My boyfriend has a snake that I wrap around my neck and walk around with.
But everyone else I know would freak out. I’d freak out if they were bugs. Of any kind. Even moths. Don’t care. Moths are scary and evil lol.

Arshim: A bee (I believe it was @futureDrAtkins) told a story on a similar thread of the time her family went on a vacation (I believe it was Disneyworld) & They stayed in a hotel room (which they would lock from the inside when they were sleeping). Well, they came home and got their pictures developed and one of the pictures was of all of them in their beds asleep!!!…..She said the pic still creeps out her Mother!!!!!!!

That was one of the coolest ghost/horror stories I’ve ever read. So sad. So so sad. But really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Chandler114: I have friends who are right there with you on the snakes vs bugs issue. I had a gardner snake apparently lodge itself in my bicycle chain as a child, and when I started riding my bike, it came out and hissed at me. My parents thought I had crashed my bike the way I screamed!
My brother though is afraid of bugs. One landed on him while was driving our 4 wheeler (grasshopper, with the sticky feat) and he ended up crashing it. He was okay, but grasshoppers freak him out now!

iarebridezilla: Haha! And I didn’t even include the two most scariest things that have happened (because they scare me so much I don’t like to talk about it.)

Love this thread. Horror genre is my favorite. So interesting and creepy.
Something that has always puzzled me is the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey. It was so high profile, I remember it being referenced over the years growing up. I’ve researched and watched documentaries about her — it’s so bizarre because the family’s odd behavior and other detials of the case. Some things are truly a mystery…
