What was your experience?
I just want a little glow, and one that I don’t have to put on every day as well. I’m low maintenance, but want a glow without going into the sun (I mean, I’m SUPER pale, and am afraid of going outside without SPF 100) haha.
Anyway, please give me your tips and tricks =]

I use a super cheap lotion that works great, I never turn out orange. It’s by Ocean Potion and I think it’s called Daily Glow? Anyway it is like 4 bucks for a huge bottle!

@missmuggins: I used Bare Minerals Faux Tan when I have a special event and there are pros and cons to using.
Pros- it doesn’t look orange and you apply it using the buffing brush keeping your hands from turning a strange color. It lasts about 5 days or so without the need to retouch. It goes on fairly clean without the typical issues of streaking, just make sure you don’t let it sit in one place too long before buffing.
Cons- after about four to five days when it starts to fade it gets spotty. I don’t mean large random spots but rather your pores are darker to speak especially on your legs. I don’t know if that is clear or confusing but it’s the best I can describe it. If you reapply before this happens then nothing to worry about.
Another con is if you play sports or have something sitting in one place when you sweat it will sweat off the tan leaving a whiter and obvious area.
Overall if you are fairer in color I would suggest Jergen’s Lotion with the hint of color and use daily for about a week or so before the wedding. My mom and I both use it every other day for a glow and it doesn’t streak, wear off like the faux tan and doesn’t look orange. They have two colors fair/medium and medium/dark and it goes on just like normal lotion (make sure to wash between fingers after application) and is much cheaper than Faux Tan.

I am super pale like you. I have Factor 50+ on today (and I live in Scotland). I generally only use St Tropez gradual tan mousse as I find the first coat gives me that “glow” and it never turns orange. With it being a mousse I can get more coverage and it never streaks. Hope this helps!

I have used L’Oreal Sublime Bronze with good success before. I’ve also used their Sublime Glow gradual daily lotion. Happy with both!

@bas0587: I revert back to this one every so often as well as the colour is just so natural. I do find, at times, if I’m not careful though it can streak a little 🙁

@bas0587:I’m at a crossroads. I also heard of sun labs brand, that is supposed to be super natural and everything. Ugh, I will keep looking and waiting for comments. Thanks guys!
