I have seen people who frame pictures of the bride and groom from a certain year for example you are at table 1996

Or postcards of special locations with meaning to the couple like you are a the space needle table

I like pics of the bride and groom growing up. I also LOVED the idea of them doing that as aisle decor for the ceremony:

One wedding I went to used words like “Happiness” “Joy” “Love”…. it was a little nauseating, and too sweet though lol. You could do authors (if you’re into books)… the Jane Austen table, the Neil Gaiman table, etc etc… or if you travel a lot, you can have each table be a different city you’ve been to.

I’m thinking about attempting paper cutting for the table numbers and then framing it.

I was literally JUST thinking about alternative ways to do table numbers when I saw this lol.

I am a musician/music teacher, so naturally, our tables were named after sections of an orchestra (haha a “symphony” of guests, if you will :P):

Anything and everything has been used for table names- sports, band names. song names. movies, book titiles, movies, cities where the couple has travelled, streets in their town or their favorite town, flowers, words associated with the couple’s hobbies -even Santa’s reindeer

@loveerin:  Since we are having our fish in the centerpieces, Fiance wants to name the tables after them.

Goldfish table,
Betta table
Guppy table

@engleman10513:  my friends did something similar. If you were at table 10, the pictures were of the B&G at age 10. We were at table 7—it was so cute!

I’m getting married at Ravens Stadium, so we did player’s names and their jersey numbers as our table numbers. Here’s a picture…
