(Closed) Any way to prevent wedding band scratching e-ring?

Soldering is the only way I’ve heard of to completely prevent scratching.  The more your rings move around/spin, the more they will scratch, so make sure they fit well so it doesn’t happen too fast.

As much as I didn’t love the idea at first, soldering also prevents your band from rubbing and wearing away your e-ring prongs (which could mean a lost stone!). I think it’s my plan.

I wouldn’t try this without consulting a jeweler, but what about clear nail polish to protect them from each other?
