I had to reorder all my Save the Dates because I had a typo! I was on the fence of just letting it go, but since they only cost $25, I reordered them.

I had saved money by using a postcard template instead of a Save the Date one, so the text was all side ways and I didn’t catch the typo. I probably would have saved money by doing it with the right template and having the text be upright!

cyan :  I’ve had to explain that to my FH, I’ve priced it all out for 25 invitations, because it’s the minimum number for a lot of them. He got pissy cause he thought we weren’t inviting his people. I was like no hun, 1 per couple. 2 are for our bridal party, 12 are for my side and the last 11 are for yours.

Not a financial mistake, but my biggest mistake so far was talking to people about the wedding before we had stuff booked (usually because they asked).  I had people want me to change every aspect of my wedding from colours to venue to date etc etc.  If I could go back I wouldn’t have said a damn thing to anyone except Fiance and just sent the invites out.  I stuck to my guns but it made for some awkward conversations.
