Week 2 – 7.2 lbs.

Had a weigh in today.  It has been great but tough.  I eat hummus w carrots (2pts) or melba toast (5 all together).

Love the WW mini (and I mean mini) candy bars at 2pts.  I eat them super slowly.

If you blend up just frozen fruit with a bit of water you can have a tasty zero points smoothie.

@FutureMrsBPB: Hey there! I’ve done weight watchers for 2 years now. So I go by the old point system. Not sure how that correlates with the new… Some of my favorite snacks are:

45 calorie bread ( 1 point for 2 slices) toasted with ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’ spray (no points) and ‘Polaner Real Fruit Spread’ (no points for 2tbsp)

I also love english muffins, if you get the whole grain 100 calorie or less kind they are only a point for one.

I really like cutting up fresh veggies and eating them with ff catalina dressing (one point for 2tbsp) and it is sooo delish!

Green Giant for one (in the freezer section) the cauliflower and cheese sauce is to DIE for, and it’s no points.

LOVE rice crispy treats… 90 calories-2 points

I also like to get the fiber one 90 calorie bars, They’re actually really good and only a point.

Those are just a few, and like I said… I count points by way f the old system, so things might be different for you!

I started WW about 1.5 weeks ago.  Down 3 lbs. 🙂  My snacks have been what you’ve already listed – fruits, veggies, etc.  I love hummus, though, and need to incorporate that into my diet.  YUM!  And when it gets warmer out (I live in Northern IL so it’s still pretty cold here right now) I will eat fat free fudgsicles…can’t wait.

I’m on week 2 of weight watchers and I’m down 6 pounds. I have snacks like grapes and laughing cow cheese, almonds, a big glass of soy milk with celery, chex mix (weighed out) raisins, hummus and pita chips (counted out) ect. I plan out my meals at the beginning of the week. Change it up, don’t allow yourself to get bored.

Special K crackers are good, as long as you don’t over-indulge! I’ve never really been one to snack – I just like eating huge meals, lol

Have you tried adding a little bit of peanut butter to bananas or apples?

I am on week 11 and have lost 21 pounds.  I am in a huuuge rut also.  But a snack that I love is to chop up an apple into small squares.  Put some splenda brown sugar and cinnamon on it and microwave until mushy. 1-2 minutes depending on the type of apple.  It is soooo yummy and I’m pretty sure is no points 🙂

it you are looking for a sweet snack. You can make any cake mix but use diet coke. its pretty good and one point per cupcake. You can add fat free whipped topping to the top (you can mix the whipped topping with sugar free pudding mix..I have not tried this and I heard it adds another point)

@heather25: haha i know exactly what you mean about the candy bars..i try to get at least 6 bites out of them. the red velvet one is my absolute fave!

i started weight watchers jan 1….i was doing really good in the beginning, but now i’m just so beyond wanting to count! i’m down 10lbs though. an i do find that it has made me much more aware of what and how much i’m eating so even though i haven’t count for almost 4 weeks, i’ve either stayed the same each week or lost a little bit.

my fave snack is 1 serving of baked tostitos and a 100 calorie pack of guacamole. only 5 points.

@FutureMrsBPB: You replace all the add ins (oil, eggs) with one can of diet coke! So you just put the box mix and one can of diet coke and mix together and bake as directed. IT IS SO GOOD. Very very moist! You can do any flavor of coke or mix. Here are some suggestions:

yellow cake mix / diet lemon-lime soda (with a dollop of Cool Whip — tastes like a “Twinkie”) * orange cake / diet Mountain Dew * cherry chip cake / diet cream soda * diet lemon-lime soda / lemon cake * angel or yellow cake / diet orange * white cake / diet peach soda * spice cake / diet lemon-lime * diet ginger ale / white cake * diet cherry soda / chocolate cake * Diet cola / devils food or chocolate mix * diet vanilla coke / chocolate cake * devils food cake / diet Vanilla coke * diet root beer / chocolate cake * diet cherry coke / chocolate cake * marble cake / diet cream soda * lemon cake / tangerine Diet Rite *.
