Caernarfon castle is worth a visit and it is an achievement to say you ve climbed snowdon for sure ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes snowdonia is near. 

 

Along the west coast I like cardigan and the beaches are beautiful. 

St Davids in Pembrokeshire also delightful

cardiff if you want a bit of Welsh city life. 

Towns like Cowbridge are sweet. 

 

Just remember transport between north and South Wales is awful. Windy slow roads and not great public transport. You could get to London faster than Swansea!  

Chester is in England but a nice city not too Far East from where you’ll be and good road ๐Ÿ™‚

Shrewsbury is a great English town close to the border.
Aberystwyth is loads of fun, quite random but has some fab cafes, pubs, pebbled beaches, etc
But I’m biased because I lived there for 3 years
