@aomame:  I just purchased my Wtoo Bristol gown a few wekks ago! EEEK! It brought my mom, sister and I to tears when I came out of the dressing room. My wedding is July 1, and vintage themed. I have very long brunette hair, and I am wearing it half up, with long loose curls, and a big vintage flower on the side. My viel is plain and long, and because I have such long hair and the big flower side accessory, I am not going to have a neckalce. I have yet to decide on earrings, but most likely studs because my ears will be mostly hidden by hair πŸ˜‰ I’m going for a the less-is-more approach πŸ™‚

What about you? Any ideas on accessories? Do you have any pics of the Bristol gown you tried on? I am dying to see it on another bride!

Best of Luck <3

@aomame:  AHHHHH! It makes me fall in love with the dress all over again! πŸ™‚ Thank you soo much for posting the picture!

My mom was the only one who took a picture of me in the dress, and unfortunately she doesn’t have picture messaging on her phone! My dress will be here the first week of May, so AS SOON AS I GET IT, I will post a pic on here for you!

I am wearing the dress without the liner, and I am removing the back panel where it laces up so you will see skin underneith the laced-up corset back insetad of material πŸ™‚ Very sexy, yet sooo sophisticated. EEEK I’m so so excited!

I will be wearing flip-flops! My wedding is in Sedona, AZ at Garland’s Oak Creek Lodge in an apple orchard with a vineyard πŸ™‚

Thank you so so soo much for posting that pic! I can’t find any pics of real brides besides the Watters website (which I don’t believe the model does the dress justice πŸ˜‰

What type of wedding are you having? Indoor, outdoor? Congrats on your engagement!

And great idea on the lace bolero! Do you have any pictures with the bolero and veil on? If you have more pics, please post!! <3

Xx-

Learnt am a terrible decision maker!  ive been googling for months if anyone else is posting about this dress.  so simple yet so elegant… wish it was a bit more fitted so may take mine in.. no liner for me.. long veil or birdcage.. not sure.  too much to choose.

I gasped when I saw this thread! I’ve been insessantly looking for other Bristol brides since I ordered my dress last month. It’s so nice to see it on another girl. Beautiful!

I was sure I’d end up with a simple, contemporary, architectural dress, but the fit and modern romance of this one was too lovely to pass on. It felt and looked so similar to a significantly more expensive Monique L’Huilier 2012 dress I had tried and fallen in love with.

We’re having an evening city wedding at a outdoor lounge surrounded by skyscrapers. I’m definitely going to wear a long, plain tulle veil for the ceremony, but haven’t decided whether to go the chic route with styling (oversized diamond studs, thick sparkly bracelet), or go with a bit of a 70s vibe (think lace capelet and undone waves). Also, haven’t decided whether to have to bodice lined with a light fabric or not. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I don’t have any photos of myself in the sample, but I’ll post a few of the dresses I was permitted to take photos of at other boutiques. Also, a few of the shots of a model at the Watters fashion show I was able to find online, because I know how sparce Bristol pictures are.

Can’t wait to see more Bristol lovelies in their dresses!

@aomame:

You look beautiful in your dress!

Was the picture of the sample you posted the lined version? It’s such a sublte difference, it’s hard to tell. I’ve never seen it lined before and can’t decide which I prefer.

Hi Bees! I have also decided on the Wtoo Bristol! After going to 4 salons and trying on numerous dresses, I fell in love with this one immediately. Just knew it was the one. I haven’t ordered it yet because I’m still waiting to get my Mom’s opinion of it next month.

As far as accessories go, I love the idea of a sash/belt. This dress makes it kind of tricky with the unlined version and the corsetted back. This is a pic of me in the unlined sample. I love this sash too, and if I decide to go with it, I will have it sewn into the back so that it won’t interfere with the corset. I will have my hair down or half up, maybe a bracelet, and earrings. Hope to keep it simple. What do y’all think?

I’m so happy to see this thread because it’s true, there are very limited photos of this beauty online!

Hi Ladies!

As I posted earlier, I will be recieving my Bristol the first week of May, and I will post picture as soon as I try it on!

I also tried on a different Wtoo dress that is similar to Bristol as it has a corset top: the Primrose corset paired with the Poppy skirt. The Primrose also came with the option of lined or not, and here are some pictures they allowed me to take of the Primrose corset without liner.

Here is a picture of the back of the corset, which is also like the Bristol dress in that it laces up. This corset was much too big but you can see the lace up the back without the back panel, which I will be removing on my Bristol dress as well πŸ™‚

Here’s a picture of how my hair will be pinned back with a large flower as well as the length of veil I will be wearing with my Bristol dress.

Hope this helps πŸ™‚ And I can’t wait to post pictures of the Bristol beauty when it arrives!!

@mollymariea:

That’s the best photo I’ve seen of the Bristol yet! I completely agree, the minimal styling is perfection. The Primrose/Poppy combination looks killer on you, but I think our Bristol will show off your shape even better!

@YogiMere:

If you’re doing a sash, i’d be curious to see how a slightly thinner one would work with the proportions of the dress. Did you get a chance to try one out? Also, I’d forgotten how stunning that train is, so glad you posted it!

@fluffed:  Yes! I am actually leaning towards a thinner, just jeweled belt! I don’t want that sash to take away from the dress and I think that it does. I’m also concerned about using that “stone” color that the sash is for fear that it will be too difficult to use throughout the rest of the venue. It’s a tough color to find and match!

@mollymariea:  Love this photo! The simple styling is absolutely gorgeous!
