itsmejillian:  okay sounds good:)! It is so beautiful. I got stuck trying on a size 8 which we for sure could not close haha so none of my body parts were where they were supposed to be. But it was still so beautiful. I’m thinking of adding some more tulle underneath it, not sure yet. I do know I’m ordering a sash off etsy, there are some beautiful ones on there and it will make the dress fancier.

Was this like most wedding dresses and have to try on larger size or was it true to size?

Its finally here!  Fits like a glove!  The only thing I need to have done is cups sewn in and some boning to give it some structure up top.  Otherwise it is super supportive and flattering, even for a size 14/16 with DDD’s!

Anyone have a smaller Marnie for sale? Did anyone alter the V neck to make it more modest?

itsmejillian:  Hi Jillian, not long till your wedding. Where are you located? Who did you altering and where did you purchase your dress from originally? It looks so beautiful and so flattering. I too have large breast and I am wondering how you made yours work! Please let me know as I can’t find any bras that would work!

jacpott:  hello!! I got my dress at The White Gown in NYC.  These pictures were actually taken prior to any alterations- I go in a few weeks and I’m just having some cups sewn in and possibly some boning. I was going crazy looking for bra alternatives, because you know- boobs, but honestly is is very easy to go braless in this gown!  I was shocked! I was thinking of taping them, but I’m not even doing that! I’m usually not a fan of cups, they normally don’t do anything for larger breasted women, but with this dress that is all you need!  They really knew what they were doing with this one, I feel like it was acfully designed with a curvier body in mind.  the first time I tried on this gown it was many sizes too small and I couldn’t even close it.  I immediately figured that there was no way in hell it would be able to hold me up.  But now that I have it in the correct size and have it closed, I’m so relieved with the support!
