@bas0587:  You and I are in a very similar boat — I’m 24 now, he just turned 26, we just bought a house, and in August, we’ll be together 8 years. Nice to know somebody else waited as long as we did to get engaged. lol

@lexusalizabeth:  I’m 25 but I don’t consider that young. I was intending to have kids by now!

I’ll be 23 and a half when we get married this December! We got engaged a couple of weeks after my 21st and so will have been engaged just under 2 and a half years. H2B will be 29 when we get married.

Really super excited!!!

i’m 21 now and will get married less than 2 weeks before my 22nd birthday, Fiance is and will be 23.
My parents were great about it, since they got engaged when my mum was 17 and married when she was 19. They are still together now and she is nearly 60!
Everyone has been great… funnily enough except for strangers. i DO have a ridiculous baby face and look about 15 though… i work at a bar and the customers tell me all the time that i don’t look old enough to work there (in the UK where you can drink at 18!)

Fiance and I are both 22 and will be 23 when hittched! I think both our parents were a little surprised but both were happy, but of course said…. “Finish school!”

I was 18 and my fiancé was 22 when we decided we were engaged. We told a lot of people but it still wasn’t out to everyone. I was my current age, 19 and he was his current age, 23 when we just recently got officially engaged to everyone. But we were engaged before the official announcement. But, August 19, 2013 was our official day.

Im going to be 22 when I walk down the isle and it will be the month before my Fiance turns 25. We been together since i was 15 and living together since I was 20. All of our family is very excited even though my father makes jokes and everything(that is how he always is lol) we had no trouble with anyone though 🙂

I am 23 and so is my FH (though he’ll be 24 in October) and we got engaged 3 months ago. Everyone is really happy for us and I’m glad I’ve only gotten one “I think you’re too young” lecture, lol. We have been together for 4 years and living together for almost 2, and also some of that was an LDR for 6 months or so. We are both done undergrad studies now and are so ready to have a life together!

My Fiance was 19 and I was 20 when we got engaged last March. We are now both 20. We will be 21 when we get married in a little over 8 months (May 17th, 2014). We’ve been together for a long time, have an apartment, are financially stable, and will be getting married 2 weeks after my graduation from undergrad.

Our family and friends are very supportive. My parents got married at 20 (two days after my mom’s college graduation) and are still together 32 years later so they are completely supportive. We’ve only gotten weird reactions from strangers, which is probably partially because I have a baby face.

FH was 23 when we got engaged, 24 when we get married. I was 20 when we got engaged, 21 when we get married. I don’t speak to my SD’s side of the family, but his family and mum’s side of the family have been supportive. FFiL is so stoked, cos FH is his first child getting married. 🙂
