I’m 24…have’t set a date yet but will probably be 25 when we are married.  I personally don’t think that is very young….sure its on the younger side but i think midtwenties isnt super young.

I do however get looks from certain people because they think i am 16.  Seriously. I was buying a wedding book from a bookstore and the lady checking me out was like…you are getting married?!??.  Like yes…um thanks.  Its annoying but when I am 30 and look 22 ill be happy haha.

I just got married about a month ago and I’m 19 as well. People were pretty nice about it — I’m pretty religious, I’ve already finished college and I’m starting graduate school in the Fall, and I’ve been with my husband for nearly 7 years. So people understood that it was a logical time for us to get married and didn’t really give us much trouble.

Our theme was lightly Phantom of the Opera, but a lot of old-world style and dramatics. πŸ™‚

I’m 22 and my husband is 26, almost 27. We got married after “officially” dating for only 46 days lol. Everyone thinks we’re insane but when you know, you know. It doesn’t help that my husband has a more “mature” look (everyone thinks he’s older than he is) and I look like I should be in high school still 😐

Ignore any negative comments and enjoy spending time with your partner!! πŸ™‚

I am 22 and getting married in 3 1/2 months! FH will be 27 at the wedding. I, luckily, have not had to deal with any negative comments. People that know me, even customers at work(they assume I’m older anyways) know I am very mature for my age. I don’t take marriage lightly and neither does my family.

We don’t really have a theme, just a romantic/elegant vibe going. Our colors are grey, ivory, and burgundy!

I Will be 27 by the time I’m married but am 24 now. I look 17 though, and you should have seen the looks we got going ring shopping together. Looks like we’ll be ordering the final ring online though.

I’m almost 23, going to be 24/5 when we get married. The only negativity I have come across about my age or the length of our engagement (3.5 years minimum) has been on the bee.

I’m 22 and will be 23 when we marry. I definitely got the “you’re so young!” bit, but I just had to brush it off:) Sometimes it’s hard though! The worst was when people acted like I was throwing my life away by getting married young. Hello? I can do the same things I do now, I’ll just have a husband! People are funny sometimes:)

Our wedding colors are Navy Blue & Blush Pink:)

Oh and my theme for our big wedding (this october – we did the courthouse thing this month) is just kind of vintage/garden/rustic? Our colors are yellow and gray, with a few small purple/teal accents πŸ™‚

@future_mrs_taylor:  I am 21 and will be 22 at the time of the wedding! I get it a lot from guys who are older. I think some try it as a pickup line which is just creepy in itself lol I look about 25 and my Fiance is 28 will be 29 for our wedding so we don’t usually get strange looks. Our wedding colors are purple and white!

I am 22, Fiance is 30. We don’t get any looks or comments, so that’s good. Our bridesmaids are wearing eggplant purple and we are decorating our barn venue with distressed wire birdcages. Super excited, wishing August were here already πŸ™‚

I am 22 and he will be 21 in a month and we are getting married in July.

We’ve been together since I was 17 and he was 16 and we got engaged when I was 20 and he was 19.

I didn’t go to college because I am a photographer so I am more so in the mindset of being ready for marriage and a family and he is getting his bachelors and will be done in 2-3 semesters and then will be going on to graduate schooling.

I like to think that instead of graduating this year with my other highschool classmates that I am “graduating” into being a house wife by getting married. xD

Our theme is rustic/vintage and we are using peacock feathers tastefully.  Colors are teal, green, brown, and ivory.
Here’s my inspiration board!

I am 24, will be 25 for the wedding, but no one has really commented on my age at all.  We have been together a long time, so our getting engaged wasn’t a shock to any of our family/friends.  Most people who meet my Fiance and I just assume we are married and call us wife/husband all the time.

We are having a loose fall theme since our wedding is in October, with some fun elements like ski lift-tickets as escort cards (we both love skiing) and river stones for a guestbook (we both work in the water industry)

Oops I didn’t respond to the rest of your question! I got engaged at 24, will be married at 25; my FH is 28. I haven’t had any rude ‘age’ remarks. Our colors are gold (glitter) and lavender. 3 months from Friday!!
