I was/am 24 when engaged and will be a month shy of turning 26 when I get married 🙂
I’ve gotten no strange looks/comments, but 25-26 is a long way off from 19! 🙂 It also probably helps that Fiance is 31 (going to be 32 on wedding day), so everyone I’m sure sort of expected it 🙂
My colors are an all-white wedding (pure white and different shades) with pops of cobalt blue and gold. I get my stunning wedding dress on Saturday–my birthday! I can’t wait!

@Chelwilly: Holy. beautiful. Lavender and gold… amazing!

My Fiance proposed when he was 19 and I was 20. We’re both 20 now and will be 21 at the time of the wedding.
I actually do not get the age thing often. I will have graduated with my Bachelors by the time we get married so for most people it’s not a big deal. My Fiance gets the age comment more often because he only just finished his freshman year of college (took a year off and now money issues). But my Fiance has been supporting himself since he was 18 and we already live together (when I’m not at college) so no one was really surprised.
Our colors are green, blue, and brown. We have a slight country/nature theme.

We are both 23 and we will be 24 when we get married. By then we will have been together for over 10 years! So everyone has been very supportive and excited for us. We are having our reception in some beautiful English gardens and I want to have lots of bunting and bright colours. A possible colour scheme is aqua blue, pink and yellow.

I will be 25 when we tie the knot. I rarely hear remarks about us being too young but I guess a large part of it is because my FH and I are very stable with our lives now (we both have stable jobs and have been living on our own (not together) since college.) Plus we’ve been together for a long time (7 years and counting!) so to most of our friends it’s like “finally!”

We are both 22 have been engaged for a year, and dating for like 5. People who know us are happy and excited for us. And I really don’t care what the others think…we know its right for us 🙂
We are doing coral with yellow and mint accents for our colours. A bright, outdoor, summer wedding!

Engaged at 23, getting married at 25! I’m a little tired of the “young” comments. One time we were looking at houses, the lady actually asked me if Fiance was my dad!!!! He was 29 at the time!!!

When we got engaged, Fiance and I were both 24. We’ll be 25 when we get married. I sometimes get strange looks from people I don’t know because I look a lot younger than my age, but people who know us gave us variations of “FINALLY!!”. We’ve been together for 7 years, so it was not a big surprise.
We are eloping, so no real colour scheme, although I may try to incorporate some gray and yellow, my favourite colour combination 🙂

I will be 21 (almost 22) and he will be 23. Our theme is peacock!

- Wedding: Either Philadelphia City Hall or a small chapel.
I’m 21 and FH is 30. Will still be the same age when we get married just before Christmas.
I have had people say I’m too young (even by women in their mid-late 20’s who still date) or that even he’s too old for me, but, it doesn’t get to me.
I don’t really have a theme as I’m planning something small (maybe 20 guests at the most if I do decide on it rather than an elopement), but, here is my planned ensamble:
Can’t decide which tights or shoes, yet.

@future_mrs_taylor: I’m 24. Some people probably feel this way about me but I’ve only heard about it after they’ve said it behind my back. Strangers sometimes react strangely but I think it’s because I look a good 7 years younger than I am.

I’m 24 and fi is 26 when we’re married!

I was 18 when we got engaged, just a month shy of graduating high school. I’m 21 now and we are getting married in less than 80 days!
Most people thought we were crazy but after a long engagement they are all excited for us and can’t wait to celebrate together in August!

@future_mrs_taylor: Ya i get that. i am 23, so is my Fiance, we have been together for 4 years. We just graduated college, and I don’t really know why we should wait. Even our family says we should have waited a year or so….His sister thinks we are CRAZY; she’s 26 and not in a relationship.
