Hello Cleveland Bees!
I’m going to the Lyndhurst DB next Thursday night and I was wondering how the serivice will be. I’ve gotten SUPER mixed reveiws about DB as a whole and if I can save myself some disappointment and frustration I’d love to do that. So how was the service, staff, dress selection? Thanks bees!

Mentor?! I grew up in Mentor, what a small world! I live in Willowick now. Anyway, back to your question. I went to DB in Lyndhurst twice, once for my gown & once for Bridesmaid or Best Man gowns. Both times we had bad experiences. The selection & prices were decent, but the staff was awful. We went on Saturdays tho, so it was packed in there (little kids running around everywhere, ugh!) so maybe a Thursday would be a little better. I wasn’t impressed with DB and didn’t purchase mine or our Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses there.
I do HIGHLY recommend Galleria Gowns (in Willoughby Hills), they are fantastic, amazing dresses & good prices. Super sweet staff too!

Not sure if this is too late for you or not… I went with my mom and the service was fine although packed as it was a Saturday. My mom came with me and that was not a good idea. She’s got a screw loose. So I left without a dress and wound up buying one from another DB (on the west side). Have fun!!!

So I assume you already went since this is a month late- I really need to check the local boards more often!
I actually had a pretty good experience at that DB. My first appt. was on a Monday night- so I was seriously the only one there and had multiple people helping me. My 2nd experience was at the one in Canton- and it was HORRIBLE. the woman was super rude, and even though I told her up front I couldn’t buy that day- and would probably order in Cleveland, she was trying to force the sale down my throat.
I did go back to the Lyndhurst one and bought my dress there- and again, had a great experience. It was Saturday and I didn’t have an appt. but I knew which dress I was getting. So they basically just gave me a room and said go for it. Even then, the consultants were still super helpful with picking out accesories.
