My budget was $800 and I only spent $390. I haven’t put the money towards anything else yet but I will probably use it to buy shoes, jewelry, etc.

my budget was $500 – dress was $350.  I’m using the extra to buy a Wrapor and I did splurge on some blingtastic crystal earrings!! ($50)

My mom didn’t really give me a budget when I was shopping…but I sort of new in my head what I was comfortable with her spending, and I came in under that. I am going to put the money toward alterations…and probably extra flowers.

My dress budget was $3000 (generously donated by my fabulous Grandma who has watched way too much SYTTD) and the dress ended up being $1650. I’m using the rest on alterations, jewelry, veil, and shoes.

Fiance budgeted $1,000 for the dress but in my head I only wanted to spend about $500. I found the dress ($680) and my step-mom and grandma ended up paying for $200 of it so I ended up right at (my) budget and the extra the fiance had wanted to budget towards it went straight to the overall fund.

I budgeting 2000 and ended up only spending 625 because I returned my wedding dress and am using my rehearsal dress as my wedding dress.  I’m still unsure about styling though so the shoes might break me!  Just kidding…:)

I budgeted $150 and bought it for $135 down from $435, haha. I’m not really into designer clothes. I found it on sale at a local shop. I still have yet to get it altered though.

I didn’t really have a “budget” per se, but I knew I didn’t want to go over $2,000 BUT even that number scared me, luckily the store I bought my dress from, I used to work at as a consultant, so any dress I bought I would get for cost (score). So my WToo Camilla dress I ordered, retails for roughly $2,100 and I got it for cost, so including shipping I got it for less than half the price, saving over $1,000 if I bought it for the normal price, AND I probably won’t need any alterations, so that will work out perfect.

My budget was $350 and I came in at $220. My alterations are free through a friend so no money there. I did buy a cheap veil ($26) and my shoes ($40) and a corset and slip ($100) so instead of all that costing around $500 like I had planned, it all cost around $350. We didn’t plan where to use the extra, but I guess it ended up being an extra night at our cabin! 🙂

I wanted to stay under $600 for my dress. I am a plus size girl so I wasn’t expecting to find anything off the rack or finding something my first time dress shopping, but that’s exactly what I got! I tried on 6 dresses and the last one was “The” dress. I paid $445 which was almost half off the price of the dress. The dress feels like it was made for me!

I came 1000 under budget! Originally I said I didn’t want to go any higher than 1,500…and then low and behold I won a grand prize at a bridal show that got me $500.00 off the price of a gown! I ended up finding a dress that was $1000… and only had to pay 500! Less than my mom paid for her dress 29 years ago. My parents offered to pay for the dress and my mom was literally laughing as she paid. Two weeks after ordering my dress, I won free alterations at another bridal show… so no more money needs to go towards the dress at all. So refreshing!

In my head I was thinking $1200-$1500, maybe $2000 if it was an amazing dress. I get 2 extra paycheques a year so I thought if I spent one of them, that was reasonal about.

I ended up paying just over $500 for my dress, $200 for shoes and $100 for a veil but I think I will get a different one that’s $80.

Um, technically 0 from my pocket? I originally wanted to find a dress for $300 or less, got lectured from my Fiance about being too thrifty (hey, isn’t that a prized trait in a wife?) and agreed to go up to $500 if necessary.

Found mine for $450, but Mom swooped in and bought it. Alterations were a wedding gift by my seamstress, but the veil was $14, shoes $4 (Targer clearance, I <3 you), and jewelry was $10 (I love Christmas sales). So, my pocket was $28, but since we set a wedding budget as if we were having no help and then did get help, we are counting contributions into the same budget and not extending our budget further.

So, I guess I came in $22 under budget for the full ensemble.

Oh crap. Forgot to count the slip and boob holster. Okay, I’m over budget. But the dress itself was under!!
