Wow I have never heard of this! What is it for if you don’t mind my asking? I’m an aussie and I’m pretty sure we don’t do it here tongue-out

I just did one for our 1 year wedding anniversary. I was nervous at first but got comfortable very quickly! It was so much fun and most of the photos turned out great . I am making it into a book for my hubby. I used a local girl in my town who a lot of my friends used as well. It was so worth it! Do it!!!

Commenting to follow. I thought about this, but feel a bit too insecure about my body at the moment (battling some health issues) but quite keen to do it at some point…

diamondbeez :  I did!  I actually wasn’t really thinking about doing it until I won a great package at a bridal show I attended.  It was for a 90 minute session, 3 outfit changes, hair and makeup, and 45 edited shots.  Originally $399 and I got it for $99.  It was such a great deal that I figured why not!?  My Fiance of course loved the idea and I decided I would do it for his wedding gift.  Honestly the hardest part for me was deciding what I was going to wear lol.  One of the outfits I knew I wanted was something white and wedding themed since it’s his gift.  For that one I wore white lace bra and panty set with a short veil, white garter, and sky high heals.  They are probably my favorite shots!  I’ve never done anything like this before but the photographer was awesome.  The only time I felt uncomfortable was the first time coming out of the dressing room, but after that she made me feel confident and comfortable.  She showed me how to pose and stand and where to look.  I didn’t have to think about anything, just follow direction.  And let me tell you the photos turned out absolutly beautiful!!! The lighting and angles were so flattering and nothing looked “cheap” or “sleezy”.  I will say, I got a good deal on the photo session, but I splurged on the album I bought.  Since it’s a wedding gift I wanted it to be nice and got the big, leather bound album, plus paid for extra pages to be added because I couldn’t narrow down the photos.  Probably over-did it, but I don’t regret it.  Overall I am so glad I did the boudoir shoot.  My Fiance is going to die when he sees the photos and I know he’ll love it.  Plus I’ll have something to look back on one day and see how hot I once was hahaha

I do it all the time… I figure I won’t be always so young and pretty 😜 so let’s capture this… I don’t use a specific photographer. I am as a model on TFP pages and when someone is looking for a model and I like the photographers pictures…

posing is very challenging and i always feel like I have been working out the day after… the more unnatural the pose feels the more natural and pretty the outcome. Good fotographers will tell you what to do.

I love it. We actually have a huge picture of me hanging in the bedroom. It’s just a body shot (neck to mid thigh) and people don’t know it’s me (our bedroom kinda opens up to the living room).

repeated posing and modeling actually taught me a lot about my body (not the face though – i have not control over that so I always have my standard RBF with a touch of  bedroom in my pictures – works for me though) and I am able to take some decent pictures of myself (tripod and remote) if I need emergency pictures for Fiance 😜

wear underwear that might seem a bit to loose for your comfort so they don’t cut into your skin. Cheeky panties make your butt almost always look nicer. Don’t eat for a while before the shoot, hydrate moderately. Also ask for BW pictures and shadows. But a good photographer will tell you all this.

i say do it!! Totally worth it. Look at the portfolios and see whose pictures you like and go for it.

I did ! Actually, we did! My Darling Husband and I did the shoot. I had some solo shots too. The concept for the shoot was “wedding night” (and morning after) so in one set, we wore out wedding outfits. For the other sets, we were not fully nude. The shoot was about 3 months after our wedding so we did gain some wait. But I thought we should do it as early as possible since we’re planning on having a baby soon. πŸ™‚ It was posted by the photographer in his facebook page. Just not sure if I can share it here. ;p

I just had mine done less than 2 weeks ago!  I had it as part of our wedding photography package, which probably added $300?  We did our engagement photos one year ago, and our wedding is in two months.  Anyway, although fiancé knows about it, he obviously won’t see the photos until after the wedding reception 😌

i was SOOO happy with how the photos turned out – well, the nearly 70 “preview” photos, I won’t get the rest for a couple of weeks, probably.  I had never done ANYTHING like it before, and thought I’d be nervous, but because my photographer is awesome and from the engagement photo experience, knows I’m all about fun, meant we had a really fun time!  I was allowed 3 outfit changes but only did 2.  We did it in our new apartment and made sure when we moved a couple of weeks prior, to not have boxes in the bedroom πŸ˜‚. I played some fun music, like from Guardians of the Galaxy or Weird Al, to make the experience fun.  Future hubby and I definitely have fun and goof off, so there were some silly photos, but also serious ones!  It lasted about 2 hours and my photographer said she had never had a boudoir session like that (and meant in a good way!). I can’t wait to present the photos!!  I know he’ll love them.  The ones I’ve seen are fantastic!
