Here is what we have. There is a bit of an animal theme but nothing extreme. I love elephants after seeing them on safari a year and a half ago!

We never bought the comforter and still have an old one in there with a black-and-white floral pattern. And the book case is still full of our (adult) books. So the room is really only half-decorated anyway but I don’t think the baby will care much!

ETA: Oh, and the walls are sort of beige color. We never bothered to paint after moving in. It’s boring but it works.

mamadingdong: Too funny, we are doing an extremely similar color scheme and also thinking of buying that glider. We’ve tried it out twice at BRU. Wondering how you like it? Everything else they had in the store seemed really narrow.

mamadingdong: yeah I’m not a fan of those either. We are getting a glider as a gift so we want a nice one! Plus we will use it through two kids

MrsWBS: Forgive me for bugging you! 🙂 Do you have pics of the nursery? I’m excited there is someone else doing the same style as I am. Hope everything is going wonderfully with your little one!

Our nursery theme is green! We both love the color green so it’s just natural for our nursery to be green. I’m thinking mint green with white furniture so it will look good with blue or pink so no matter what sex the baby is, we can accent the nursery with boy or girl colors.

Twiglets: Oh my god, that clock! Where did you get it?

We are thinking about a Jules Verne/around the world in 80 days/ steampunk nursery if we find some nice accessories…

We didn’t even decorate. So no theme here either although I got a lot of inspiration of how to organize and place furniture on YouTube by watching nursery your videos.

We turned our office into the nursery and I pretty much left it the same color scheme and wall hangings which were mainly photos of my 3 older kids. I do have a lot of green and blue accents tho.

It’s still a work in progress, but here is what we have so far. The dressers will be painted white with yellow or teal drawers. The crib needs to be painted white as well. We have a grey recliner, and plan to change the curtains to yellow.
